A necessary evil. I work to live, not live to work. I just need enough. Unfortunately, enough no longer seems like enough.

I'm a sagittarius venus. 2nd house is ruled by cancer, 6th libra and 10th aquarius.

My venus is in my 7th house and it's aspected by sun, moon, mars, saturn and pluto.

How do you view money and finances?
-- Money is necessary for security, stablity, certain level of freedom and in general the nicer things in life. And I respect my finances since I work damn hard to obtain them.

-- If you're a slave to money, yes.

On side I get words like frugal, economical, thrifty in regards to myself, but generous, charitable when it comes to others

Money is freedom. Freedom to choose, freedom to travel.
Money is security.
Work hard to play hard. I want enough to pay my bills and be able to do what I want and I want enough in savings to cover an emergency.

I get called tight, cheap, stingy and a tightwad. However, if I buy something, it will be something of quality and I don't mind spending for quality of life.

My venus is scorpio. Will have to check on the houses

For those who don't know their charts as far as aspects and houses go and are interested to find out, you can go to astro.com and click "My Astro" in the upper right hand corner and fill in your data. From that you can get your chart in different variations. I usually click Extended Chart Selection and then circular charts(default) and click to show the chart. Good luck!

I also want to play despite not having a Cap Sun! My Mars is Cap so I've got a touch..

I view money and finances as a tool to build and maintain life as you prefer and enjoy it.

I don't believe money is the root of ALL evil. There are certainly evils that exist entirely separate from money. I do think that some people can't handle the power of money or the power of greed, but they were probably evil to begin with, money irrelevant.

The only person who has commented on my money habits in the past 11 years has been my Virgo husband and he says I'm financially irresponsible. The reason he's the only one is because I have been completely financially independent since age 17 and no one else knows anything about my finances.

My Venus is Scorpio in the 1st house.
Venus Trine Jupiter.
Venus Conjuct Pluto.
