Capricorns and friends

As as a capricorn how do you define friendship? What is a friend in your mind?

Someone who is there for you and you're there for them. Someone I feel comfortable being my true self with no matter how dark I get or how goofy I can be.

There are different levels of friendship.

Brutal honesty.
Me: how do you like my haircut
Friend: grow it out and never cut it like that again.

I've had a really difficult time with friends in my past and still now. Pretty much any time I get close to someone, we have a falling out. I think my expectations are too high - I expect to not be judged but to also get real honesty from them. And for them to keep my personal life between us. Girls gossip so much, and I have a hard time accepting that. And the closer we are, the more considerate I expect you to be. I just expect you to have my back. I should feel like you'll always defend me or try to make me look/sound good.

The girls I usually get close to have a dominant personality like me so it's no wonder we clash sometimes. But I've noticed they're usually more easy-going than me. I think all they want is friends to have fun and look cute with. For me, that's too shallow.

Honestly, I think I'm just supposed to have acquaintances 😉
