Caps. & the Phone

I'm polling... from all Capricorns... what are your phone habits? Anything strange and unusual? Because mine are... I hate the f'in phone for the most part. Like, people I like- well my family and friends for example- will call and 60-75% of the time I don't pick up. Usually it's because I'm just not in the mood to get on the phone and talk and other times, I'll want to have them leave a voicemail to find out what they're calling about first. lol And then I wait until I'm in a lively, decent mood to call them back. Is anyone of you Caps. like this or what's your story? Am I a frrreeeak? A recluse? A hermit?

I think this mentality or attitude about the phone could be in part some of the deal the women on here are experiencing w/ Cap. men ... But yet I have to say that when it's a romantic interest calling that I'm hot about.. I will typically want to talk to them, unless I'm uncertain if they're calling mad or to confront me, or will be inviting me out and I'm not in the mood to go but yet if I liked them I'd be in the mood pretty much no matter what, non? And hell, I wouldn't wait 4 weeks to call the poor bastard back under any circumstances! lol

The Cap men I know will talk a whole in your ear in person......but they keep phone conversations short and to the point.

this is me exactly I'm the one who people know is home when they get the anwsering machince and they say "I know your there pick up the phone!!!!"
but I screen all calls unless It's a guy I wanna talk to and even then I'll let it ring some before I pick up

My Cappy husband is so like this!!! He will never get the phone!! Even if he's right beside him, he'll either bring to me or my daughter to answer!! But if I call him at work from my cell he'll answer, but if I call from home number he'll let it go to vm... (Says he didn't recognize number) I had to go into his phone and put home number under "home" so he'll answer!! LOL

I'm exactly like that. I dont pick up too often and if I dont know the number pfft! please no chance of an answer... better leave a good message.

That's weird... Unlike you all, I always pick up my phone. The only time I don't is when I'm mad at the person who's calling or I can't get to the phone.

haha...that's so weird CAPGIRL...i really do have same habbit...i hate phone and hate answering it...that's why me too 70% of a time i don't pick it and wait till people leave me a message, so that i can hear it and see if I'm in the mood to call them back right away...🙂but i do call them back usually later on the same day or latest next day...it's not that i have anything against those people it's just the way i am..i hate phones...the only exception is my mom...i always pick up when my mom is callin'🙂 but ya clearly CAPGIRL, i think it's something that many caps have...i heard it very often from my cap friends...so we like perfectly understand each other and prefer to textmessage rather than call.

Caps are just not social people - I hate talking on the phone - I don't even have a cell phone - I would rather text people than talk to them - I'm not social with people outside of my work (my co-workers are the only real people I associate myself with the most cause I've known them for years) but strangers I hardly give the time of day to them - much less introduce myself - I don't even talk to my mom unless I actually see her - my mom's moon sign is that of a Cap but she's a Cancer so she's already very much to herself as well - esp. @ work - and keeps her family life personal and only will talk to a certain clique of people with which she feels confident in talking to - but is only really personal with those that are actually in her personal life - which is pretty much what I am like as well (having a Virgo moon may have to do with this as well since I'm very to myself about whom I talk to and would rather keep to myself than associate myself with people outside of my 'list' of people to talk to 😛) Being online is different though - it's more anonymous so I feel its just all around easier to express myself 😛)

i don't mind picking the phone up when it rings. but i really hate long conversations.

How weird! I'm a Capricorn and I'm just like that too...

I think it's maybe a guard...and a control thing...?

Or maybe we just don't want to talk cos we just like thinking to ourselves too much and spontaneous chat doesn't really excite us (unless it's with someone who we've let into our hearts of course!)

I think it's because we are private people and think that very few people will ever (if ever! understand us) maybe?
