Caps who say theyll call.. But dont!

Why do you guys do this? I heard nothing from the Cappy for five days... I'm not mad at the days that went by without contact, no. I have a life. I'm disappointed because he spoke about hanging out again during our whole first date, then when he dropped me off was making plans again for our next meeting the next day!, and even said he'd definitely text me...

And now he texts me, five days later.. not sure what to do. Maybe ill make him wait two weeks see how he likes it... -____________-#

I always mean to call, but get busy/distracted/lazy/whatever and it slips my mind. I think about it at the most inopportune momemts (5 a.m., 11 p.m., during a meeting at work, etc) then forget.

cap mooner did this to me a lot. Its what ended our relationship. Inconsistency sucks. Once he said he wole up from a dead sleep remembering he blew off a call the day before. Too little, too late. Sucks.

Actually, a lot of my best friends are Capricorns, so I can definitely relate. Best thing to do is play the same game back. They'll immediately catch on to what you're up to, but it will still work and they'll secretly despise you for winning... But then they'll love you because that shows you're actually an interesting person. And then it'll keep bugging them and they'll remember more often to talk to you. Vicious cycle.

But that's just my theory... 🙂

Trust me. They don't do it on purpose. They genuinely got wrapped up in some project/ assignment or something. Eventually something at the back of their tiny little minds tells them to call you & they eventually do. Just not when you expect it.

This is the exact reason I don't date capricorn men, they are very inconsistent with me and it's annoying..I say cut your losses and move on.

I would do this to my Taurus friend when he'd text. If I was busy or just too tired to go back n forth at that moment then I would wait to text back. That knucklehead gave me a taste of my own medicine, and I didn't like it. It's never intentional, as in to play games or anything silly like that, and it sucks later to realize that you've set the tone for how you are now treated by that person, but ah well...

If he's not giving you the attention you'd like then I agree that's its best to cut him loose.

So he replied. I'm kinda over him.

He's into me yes, but I guess not as much as I'd like him to be.. I mean he doesn't have to spend every waking hour texting or calling or hanging out w/ me... But damn there are other guys dying to be in his shoes and he's not even taking advantage of the fact that I found him so damn appealing!

Don't come on too strong, but let him know you're thinking of him. If he responds positively, then great!!!! Keep doing it. If he doesn't, don't. Just to let ya know, if I feel ignored/rejected, I'll back way off until I'm cold to that person eventually.

You putting him on ignore will not end up in the result you're hoping for - i.e., that he'll learn his lesson - he'll be perfectly content with his space and will just contact you when and if he feels like it. If he realizes you are doing it intentionally your tactic will backfire! He's really not likely to care that he's 'on ignore', but, he'll recognize you're intent as manipulative and he will move on. Unless, of course, his goal is to just get laid... in that case you'll get to see what his 'package' surmounts to and then he'll move on!

Capricorns don't usually play games. But they are smart ( and have an intuition that rivals any water sign) and can see right through you if YOU play games with them. When that happens, things can go either way; he will either behave the way lildol mentioned...or they will decide to play along with YOUR games and beat you at it...all the while making you think you won.
