East Coast vs West Coast

East Coast wins every time. Nicer people, even if they're rough around the edges, we're more nailed down. And in the instance of a apocalypse, we won't settle old cities again like on the West Coast. We start new communities and stay as far away from cities as possible. We're adaptable. If the East Coast was a sign, we would probably be a Sagittarius or some other Mutable sign. Though I like the Midwest, they're comparable to Southeasterners, just a bit more calm and loose. I notice a lot of land in the Midwest is farmland for growing corn and wheat. I met a few Midwesterners in the past, one is a complete douchebag who goes by the asshole name of Steve (yes that Steve, not his real name. But he's a fucking Steve), and the other dude was calm and pretty cool to hang with. Steve's from Chicago and Johnny (Not his real name) is from Detroit. But back to the problem. EAST COAST IS BETTER THAN WEST COAST!!!!

Comparing East Coast and West Coast. I'm doing this as a way to state why I think the East Coast is better. I don't hate the West Coast. But to anybody living on the West Coast, no insult or harm intended. Tell me why you think which is better.

Btw ^ West Coast is on the left and East Coast Right. Here's a few more examples and stereotypes.

meh....I'll go West Coast. The first cartoon is more like me.

Cold beer, casual attire, dog person, the weekend activities are better, and the music. The only thing I go East Coast on (according to cartoon) is the work hours. I have no desire to work until 10 pm every night.

All that being said, piss on both. I'm a southern boy.

Well since I live on the East Coast, yeah I'm more East Coast cept for the music. I hate emo music and Lady Gaga. I listen to electronic/techno, punk, and alternative. But everything else, fuck no.

Ha! No way, I live on the East Coast (7 years now) born and raised on the West Coast and the people on the East Coast are not the nicest people....sorry. Too rough around the edges, guard is always up , so worried that someone wants so sing they have and will always question "why are you so nice?" That's a problem if you have to ask someone that question. My opinion. West coast, the South and Mid West have the nicest people.

West Coast all the way, but I'm a Socal gal, born and raised, so I might be biased. I have traveled around the USA, have almost all of my relatives on the East Coast and have had a chance to compare. What I've found is that the West Coast tends to be less rude, more laid back, less prejudiced and more liberal. Emphasis on liberal. Our weather is usually pretty damn awesome and we have real mountains....not foothills that we call "mountains"....but actual mountains. Also, the geography is very diverse, so there's something for everyone.

What I find funny about the cartoons posted is that the OP states the East Coasters are generally nicer and then the cartoons prove otherwise, especially the one with the douche bag screaming profanity at the old lady. :/

Your pretty much say that the east coast is better, because of the way people dress.

Sorry, I dont want to spend $ 300 on fancy shoes, and be a snob.

The coffee picture pretty much proves a point that people from the east coast are agressive. Who would punch an old lady, come on!

But the West Coast-- I'm sure a lot of those people are descendants of the folks who crossed from East to West during the gold rush.

Only the strong survived, so you know some of them come from strong heritage-- just saying. 😉

The West coast has a very, very Aquarian vibe to it-- like they care deeply; but generally.

It feels impersonal-- and I was very uncomfortable.

That isn't to say the people weren't good or nice.. I just had trouble identifying.

And I know I said this recently, but the further inland I went, the more authentic everything felt.

But West coast weather?

Southern California (not the valley) is the only place in the US with a Mediterranean climate.

It's incredible. 🙂

Disclaimer: these are just general observations.

As for how we dress-- where I live on the East coast, we wear flip-flops thru December, sometimes.

Very casual.
