Gemini guy with Cap lady

Anyway, Im a gemini guy and have been pursuing this cap girl for sometime now. Its been very stressful, Im not the typical Gemini that is elusive and hard to pin down. She's the one that is elusive and hard to pin down. Im very loyal Weve been seeing each other as friends now, but recently I admtted that I liked her and wanted a life with her. She had been going off on me about me being immature etc, when she backed me into a corner and I admitted that I liked her, she told me she liked me too and that it was better to have that conversation face to face. This was a week ago, we havent met face to face yet cause she cant keep an appointment and always has something to do.
She communicates well enough, better than in the beginning. Is she patient because she knows I like her and arent going anywhere, or is she not that into me. Shes quite blunt and direct, and always maintains that if she has something to say shed say it. SHould I wait or call it quits. Im getting a bit impatient and worried that we havent spoken yet.

You will always know exactly where you stand. She's going to be cold and very blunt and possibly aggressive. I wouldn't want to piss her off! lol!

I was married to a Gem for 18 years. In the beginning, it was exciting and fun, but as the years rocked along, we were not compatible. It ended horribly. We argued, had a battle for power, just did not get along or agree on anything. I liked verbal debate for fun and he would get mad thinking I was trying to change his mind and tell him what to think. Not true - I just wanted to know what he thought and for him to understand why I thought what I did. He was too needy and smothering for me and I was too unemotional and distant for him. He didn't handle finances well and couldn't make a plan to save his life and I was too controlling over finances and too much of a planner for him. Total opposites.

There are other caps on here that have been with Gems and it didn't work out for them either, but I'll let them chime in with their own opinions.

You can do what you want, but it's going to take a lot of work and loads of understanding.

Ive been seeing her for a year now..we used to see each other in passing, and I knew we were attracted to each other but it took us months to finally get together and be friends.
I know Caps are hard as hell, shes very critical and judgemental. But thats why Im so into her, she is so strong and me being a Gem am rather lenient in some areas. I can see how we complement each other. She is disciplined so she and I can do well together with my creativity etc.
I dont want to scare her away by rushing her and forcing her to make a decision, but I live off information and communication and hate being in the dark.
I lose my mind if I dont know whats happening. And as a Gem my brain doesnt stop running on full speed most of the day, so I get exhausted from thinking alone.
Basically we were arguing about some things, when she put me in a postion where I had to admit I liked her. I didnt want to do it before because I didnt want to lose the magic. I wanted to be patient with her, because I do fall hard and wanted to be sure. i wanted her to be sure about me too. She was mad about by blowing up her cell when we have a date and she doesnt communicate when she wants to cancel and Im stuck there wondering where she is. It got to the point she said Im immature and we need a bit of space, thats when I let it and and came clean. I just told her I liked her and wanted to build a life with her, and she said we needed to speak about this face to face. That gave me hope, but shes still acting funny and cold though she doesnt communicate now better than when we first met.
Ill just keep quiet and see what she does. It takes me a long time, years even, to get over a lost love so I dont want to mess up but I need to know what to do so incase she wants out, then I can begin the process of healing sooner rather than later. Ill be patient, for now.

definitely agree with truecap: give her "control" because in the end, she'll gladly reward you 100 x over. and always respect her, be sensitive to her needs and never use anything against her (meaning her vulnerabilities)

ugh, i'm going through something similar (i'm aqua dating a cap, so i'm a fellow air sign). i keep trying to tell myself that there's no rush and i'm not trying to pin him down, but it's REALLY stressful, just not knowing where he stands! and yes, he's VERY bad about keeping plans and it annoys me to no end. this is a classic capricorn trait, and i know he does this to everyone and not just me, but still. it's rude.

Personally, Id love for someone to want me that bad, persist and wait, but honestly, reading these stories, Im not a fan of people being in the dark like this.

She told me she liked me and liked my company, just that I need to grow up a bit..I dont know if she meant she liked me as a friend or more. She's very controlling and bossy though..not that I mind cause I need that stability and order in my haphazard life. She does what she wants when she wants and doesnt care for authority much to be honest. I dont care to boss anyone around, Im a Gemini, I dont care to be in charge of shit but myself.

Though Im going out of my nature to do that, and I can feel the strain already. My brain isnt wired to leave an issue unresolved, but Im always appreciative of the truth and answers so I know your advice is worth it. Whats worse is she and I are a lot alike, I have a tendency to also go awol and cold on people. Taste of my own medicine.
