It's been two months and one day I'm sure he wants to ask me out, the next day I think he only wants to be friends. I know their slow, but life's going by!!
We work together, and there's two guys and about 11 women. While he's friendly to them, it seems he seeks me out and we talk about personal things, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't do this with the others.
He asked me out for coffee once a long time ago, and we never were able to make it happen for one reason or another. But last Saturday, one of the co-workers was having a party and she invited both of us while we were all in the same room. He said "I'll go if you go...." So I decided to go, called him and let him know. He said great, he had been on the fence about it but since I would be there it would be enjoyable."
You see, he gives me such mixed messages that I have to analyze every thing he says. I've read enough here to know I shouldn't push him. And I've given him lots of compliments over the last two months. He's given me some really special compliments too. He always asks me on FridaYS what I'm doing on the weekend, then never says anything else.
What should I do? Just wait? Should I ask him to a coffee shop or something? My nephew is having a birthday party next week, should I invite him?
ok, so FINALLY we're going to go out after work tomorrow to a cafe or something. The longer time goes by, the more I think he just thinks of me as a good friend. At work, I've always joked around with him, spoke to him more familiarly than with the other co-workers, and go hang out in his room when breaks come around. He's always happy to see me, at least I get that impression. And he always has a huge smile on his face when I see him. He's quiet and reserved and kind of a loner at work. So I'm trying to prepare for tomorrow. I have an easy time just being myself. but now I'm so nervous.
Should I try to tell him some personal things about myself? Not just work stuff? I guess I'll just go by how he navigates the conversation.
Now he just friend requested me on FB. I know he's seen my page because a lot of the students we work with are my friends and his friends. I took a picture of him at a work party a few weeks ago and he said, "I hope this doesn't wind up on your FB." So because he's so hard to read and I have to analyze every single little thing, I think him choosing tonight to friend request is not just a co-incidence...
