Is this normal libra behavior?

Okay so I posted this on another forum but no one answered so hopefully someone will on this one
So here's the story...
So I met this libra guy about a year ago at a party then we became friends start hanging out
Alot yada yada yada we started dating bout a 5 months ago. So now he is texting me and calling every minute! When ever we are
In public he'll kiss me and like start makingout which is really awkward for my friends and the ppl watching. And he keeps hugging me and kissing me every minute And says wants to
Spend his free time with me and mushy texts when I wake up or go to sleep. He gets really jealous when I talk to other guys too which kinda annoying. I need my freedom, but I also love him.
I thought he was in like a phase, you know honeymoon phase, but no he's just super clingy. He was never like this before.And I know this sounds like I don't appreciate his affection because I do
But this is just too much. Soo is this normal libra behavior? Have u had any experiences like this with a libra? I'm a Gemini btw.

If anything his venus might have a strong aspect to one of your planets. But yah, it's typical in the beginning.

If you want to try an experiment of mine, if you can find out the guy's chart..and find his venus and act like the sign opposite of it.

So if he has a venus in scorpio..try to do something a venus in taurus might do.

Venus in libra, aries..

In any case it might turn him completley off, back fire or knock him down a peg...who knows?

That might work but I don't wanna risk it.. But I did find out his chart :

Sun libra/scorpio cusp
Rising Pisces
Moon scorpio
Mercury libra
Venus scorpio

Also his mars is in libra

Wow I've dated a libra male before and im a libra gal, I don't recall him being extra clingy like that. He was affectionate but not over the top like that. You must be drop dead gorgeous honey.lol. I was slightly like that over my Taurus, and he was BEYOND gorgeous, like completely above the word, and I well??_I simply just couldn't help myself. That is until he shut me down cold, and told me I was too mushy. A TAURUS said that! One of the mushiest signs when in love, so that was not good at all.lol. I had to tone it down. My only advise is be careful not to crush his ego when you tell him to cool it, because if your not careful you will hurt his ego and he will tone it all the way down to a complete stop! And you will find yourself always having to ask for a kiss or hug, because he hates rejection in every since of the word, just like leo. Only he's a little more subtle about it. I would I say I look Average not amazingly beautiful haha 😆. And Yea Me and him work things out and everythings okay now. He said he's gonna tune it down a tid bit. But thank you for your advice 🙂

Perhaps its the Water? But Leebs can be that way in the beginning and as time goes on he backs off.
