I'm curious because I have seen lots of broken hearts in that combo BUT I found that the common knowledge is that this combo has lasting marriage. On the contrary, IRL I see more break ups between this combo than I see married couples with this combo. What I mean by common knowledge is what I got on the search engine by finding compatibility.

Depends on the two people involved, how mature, etc. they are. It also depends on some other things, like how much water and earth are in both charts. I have zero earth and the earth signs I know in real life usually don't understand the emotional side of me, but I do have a lot of water in my chart. What happens is the earth sign gets confused and the water sign doesn't feel loved. If that gap can be bridged then it can and should work.

Yeah it really depends on the emotional aspects. Most Cancers I meet really aren't really emotional. They are usually cheerful or reserved. It can be a good match but it's all about emotional tolerance. Other than that they compliment each other well. It also depends how often you can keep the Cap at home.
