Integrity is the number one thing, IMO. Without it, what's stopping the person from completely screwing you over?

Hey guys,
So recently, I've been thinking of working on a business venture with someone. In the getting-to-know phase everything was moving along well until I've noticed subtle shady behavior.
1) Our introduction wasn't based on business needs but just general advice and chit-chat. Through these conversation I continuously asked his insight and not until later that he solicited his service that I realized every of his answer has been aligned with the service he provides.
- Ok fine, this I can let go because if he believes in the quality of his service he would promote it, right? But a little disclosure before bashing those other services would have been the more decent thing to do. So that did rub me the wrong way but I can kind of understand (Libra moon flaw btw).
2) I googled his name and after continuous research I found out that somebody in a forum recommended his services. Looking at this person's writing style I had a hunch that this may be that person! So after looking at many of this alias's posts I realized that every opportunity this person gets he recommends the services of the person in question! This is outright deceitful!
3) On his website for one of his services, it offers a "Refund" but after more conversation with him this refund turns out ot be a down payment to a bigger piece of the pie. This is an awesome method and can be beneficial to both parties BUT it's the lack of disclosure that just bothers me.
Disclosure: He does seem to be an expert in his field and there have been other people who recommend his services. So I don't doubt gaining benefits from this ordeal BUT I'm concerned with doing business with someone who doesn't put integrity at the forefront of their business deals even if those deceits are minimal? Are they even minimal?
Would you do business with this person? And it wouldn't be a one-time business but long term working relationship?
..

Posted by LadyNeptunePart of me respects that hustler mentality but overall if you have to deceive people for money it's just a nah. as trump says, "sad."
You wouldn't want to do business with me then, I do some shady ass shit.

Sup still?!
Trust your instincts. I learned that the hard way today

Posted by LazyKThat's what I was thinking. Just dropped off the cash in an envelope.
Being a hustler isn't a bad thing
All criminals aren't bad people
Not sure about your situation though
I think u should just give him all of ur money ?
& have faith he will return with interest ➕

And yes on instincts. What happened today?
i met a man i was helping out. I followed my instincts the first time but he calls me weeks later and i eventually realize what my instincts were trying to save me from.
Always listen to them. Even if the service is cheaper, it'll still cost you more later on down the road.click to expand
