Busy eyes had given an example, but it was used for a friend. She mentioned thr squares and trines. I don't really understand them is all. I was also trying to see if thr info she gave was true for familial relationships or just romantic.

I like your point of a complimentary stage tiziani

It's arguably the biggest factor (outside of sexual attraction) that keeps couples together or apart romantically, for me.

Any two charts can work even if they make no sense on paper, if the maturity is right place... right time. I don't like to look at astrology as purely on paper, completely divorced from reality.

This is just how people work.

I didn't understand your question about squares and family.

You mean the meaning of the individual aspects?

square = uncontrollable change

trines = easy flowing opportunities, little effort involved

Generally it's proven true (over the course of readings I've done) that no one likes things too easy. The relationships with hard aspects seem to be the most memorable.

People can have a mix of both. An easy synastry and yet a hard composite. Or vice versa. I dunno it's hard for me to be specific because charts are not people. It's easier to know the people first then explain how their chart is challenging their life experience.

What's an easy synastry and hard composite?

I guess I could see that. My chart with 2 virgos seem to have a lot of oppositions, though I really have no clue how to interpret them, except descriptions goven already. A scorp one seemed "compatible" somebody mentioned because it seemed to have more "positive". I guess I am just trying ro put it all together and really interpret them.

Usually if you have an opposition with someone it's the temptation to project onto them or them onto you. Depending on the planet, and who's is stronger in the opposition.

Opposition = projection.

Interesting. So someone had mentioned that too compatible is boring. What is considered too compatible?

Those kind of questions are really down to the person or people involved. I'm not trying to be mysterious but it's the truth. I can't take a relationship on paper and say "this would be boring for this amount of people".

I could present a really boring relationship to one Leo at a time in their life where boring is exactly what they're looking for. 99 other Leos are going to say, "that's not for me".

It's easier if you know what you want and what you're looking for on a personal level first.

Gotcha. I was more generally speaking. I was just looking at those different charts.

You are very knowledgeable.

For me I just look at the other person and see what I don't want.

Too much water (Nope)

Too many Cardnial Signs (Nope)

If Mars and Venus square each other and or Jupiter squares one of your personal planets ew...

I like balanced people (pretty sure my Midheaven is Libra)

I feel like like Venus and Sun oppositons are not bad. They are actually pretty nice. Having the same moon is a lot would say better than same sun. (Moon is needs and emotions). Having the same needs or emotions is huge in a relationship. The same Sun is one of those depending on how close, you may be too a like which was mentioned earlier.

Lastly don't forget Saturn--shows length lot's of times of the relationship and obviously challenges and places that you both must be disciplined.

What would be good for length?

Oh you mean what aspects with Saturn show long term ?

Mars and Saturn trine or conjunct. ( Mars is exalted in Cap--Saturn Rules Cap)

There are others ... I feel like Saturn trine Venus is not bad. Venus conjunct Saturn seems more difficult than trine. Venus can't deal with the restriction as well being the lesser benefactor--venus needs to love and express beauty. A conjunction Venus and Saturn is more harsh. Conjunct just takes more work I would say.

Saturn and Jupiter are not bad either in a Trine and can be too in a conjunction too but Jupiter and Saturn are so different blending is more difficult even with a conjunction ( because a conjunction is like a marriage of planets where are forced they live together--- I feel like oppositions have the ability to run away from each other and squares want to run but can't.)

So IMO Mars with any positive aspect when Combined with Saturn

Venus Trine Saturn (mist optimal is trine)

Jupiter trine Saturn (most optimal is trine)

Also Neptune trine Venus is awesome and same with trine Jupiter.

Conjunction with Neptune usually make the bad parts of Neptune Strong.

Pluto to lesser extent than Neptune and Saturn gives a hint at a long lasting relationship from my experience.

How did I forget Jupiter. Jupiter is the greatest blessing if aspected correctly.

yes I was going to say Saturn. good call frostey. Saturn is very important. hard Saturn aspects can mean a very rough relationship or rocky that is most likely to end badly. not always of course, but Saturn is "durability" and "long-standing". caution, reserve, etc. harmonious Saturn aspects mean you guys will work to make it last or it will make it easier to last long-term.

Jupiter is also important like frost said. my Jupiter opposed a guy I liked. mine libra, his Aries. things faded but our Saturn had harmonious aspects. our moons trine. but it just ended. we had a lot of Uranus influence which means sporadic, unpredictable...it ended quickly. well not really quickly but after almost a year. my 7th house cusp is Aries so I loved the Aries energy he possessed. my Saturn was conjunct his sun and his Pluto was conjunct my sun. I was pretty hypnotized by him. I thought he was the most perfect man on the planet. still do if I wanna be honest with myself, but it was just not the right time. grateful to have known him tho. our Mars/Venus sextiled and trined. Venus and Mars are great for sexual relations...not always for long-lasting relations. look to Saturn for long-term durability
