Will our connection ever materialize in a relationship?
That's the point of my question 🙂
Sure, we have challenges, but I know for fact we have a connection. We can talk for hours on end and understand each other. He's got no problem confiding in me despite the fact we have different ways of dealing with emotions.
However, I'd like to get a general overview, not just on a single aspect because hard aspects can be found in every synastry.

It is actually true that he mentionned kids/a family a few times in the beginning. Although I'm usure about having kids, I can completely see myself having a family life with him.
Can't read the outer persons houses when the synastry chart is presented as a transit chart.
On first look, there is NN/SN- IC/MC conjunctioconjunctionn that could create a keen interest to create a familiar/family life together...
I didn't look at too many aspects in the chart but his Saturn to your moon and ASC should make it easier for him to commit to you, atleast emotionally.
I'm not a fan of Saturn on Uranus, but it might be what gets you guys to have a committed relationship IF Uranus is the ruler of an angluar house! R7 conjunct an angular ruler is powerful in synastry along with nodes to angles. But I'm not a fan of Chiron on angles and SN on Mars.
I have seen too many squares in committed relationships....
The problem is he's now disappeared for some reason and I'm wondering if the chart indicates some sort of on/off dynamic or whether it purely indicates a long-term potential.
We have issues as to how we express our emotions. We have different ways of communicating these emotions and may sometimes hurt each other's feelings inadvertently which always causes one of us to withdraw.
However, I have genuine feelings for him ... I've had them for two years now and to be fair, now that we experienced being together, I can't picture never speaking to him again ...

There are negative aspects in every synastry/relationship. I'm fully aware of the challenges we have and I never expect any relationship to last a lifetime in this day and age. I appreciate the honesty, but sometimes, I feel as though people prefer to point out reasons why it will never happen instead of actually providing an overall objective perspective. It's just my perception, I do not want to offend anyone.
My question wasn't exactly as to whether this 'relationship' will last forever, but it was mainly pertaining to whether or not it will actually materialize in a long-term relationship (whether it lasts a lifetime or a few years/months is another question).

I know we have a connection, but it's been difficult. Yet, I don't want to remove him from my life for some reason.
