This is an astrology message board so I'd like to know what you all think about this combo in general...unusual/interesting interpretations are welcome!

Although Scorpio tries hard to make Gemini happy he/she fails often because Gemini needs to be involved with many other people, living life to the fullest, to be happy. The Scorpions jealousy and possessiveness is appalling to Gemini and this could cause a breakup as Gemini would feel like he/or she was imprisoned rather than attached.

I agree with both mike and tiamat.. I have a gemini guy friend, and as a scorpio, there is NO WAY IN HELL i'd date a gemini. I mean my friend is just all over the freakin place. And while I love his personality I would never put myself in a situation to have to cater to his whims. He drops girls like crazy, just b/c he wanted to do this or that, study this or that, live here or there.. its hilarious from afar but I wouldn't want to be any of his girlfriends or exes.

I don't think this match has a good reputation. i don't click well with most geminis i know, it's just no connection there, and to try a relationship... oh gosh ... no. -_-
If you just focus on the sun signs, I agree that the match should be a difficult one, but when you take all the planets together, the combo isn't as 'typical' as one might think. For example, the scorpio girl has moon in gemini and venus in sag...makes her much much cooler emotionally (on the inside and outside - which she is) and adds the elements of flirtatiousness, the need for intellectual stimulation, and the "grass is greener on the other side mentality" (sounds like traits similar to the gemini). Her venus is in sag, the guys mars is in aries, the mercuries are trine, eros is an aries-leo combo etc... etc...Anyone care to share an interpretative opinion on this combination from a comprehensive perspective? I'm interested in the how these two personalities might truly interact emotionally, sexually, spiritually based all the planetary positions (Unfortunately, I don't have house placement for the girl since I don't have her rising sign). I know there are some deep minds and hearts on this scorpio board - interested to hear your take on this gemini-scorpio pair.

Sun- NO No NOOOOO, you will never fully get along...mainly the reasons listed above under the Sun sign thing. No need to go into details.
Moon- I think the fact that your moons are opposite to your Sun signs is good because her Scorp sun will be "lightened up" by her Gemini moon, and your Pisces moon might make you understand her a bit more because you will be more emotional and might help you to explore a deeper relationship than the typical Gemini male. Less superficial, but it is still air & water, so there might be conflicts.
Mercury- Being that they are both in water signs and this is the "communication" sign, it might be that you two don't have to do as much talking as you understand each other. Now you being Gemini & probably love talking, and most Scorps aren't super talkative, you will talk to her more than she does you anyway, but I think she might like it better that way, being so mysterious. You are going to have to pull teeth to get her to talk about herself more than likely!
Venus- This combo will definitely help you in the whole thing...you are very compatible with each other as in love you both desire a bit of freedom...as I know most Scorps like to have some space anyway as do Gems, and this might make her less prone to fits of jealousy. Sexually, I bet she is VERY horny though...and like to experiment. Venus in Gemini (me too, yeah!) is a hard sign to be in because you are ALWAYS looking for the next best thing...don't deny it! Especially with the Gemini sun, you better not cheat or find yourself looking at other women too much! She'll still sting ya!

I think you are probably right on a number of comments, especially the gemini guy doing most of the talking, but the scorpio girl being much less talkative (mercury in scorpio), but likes being the recipient of gemini's attention via talking (gemini moon).
What do you think of the sun-moon combo? Seems that there could be affinity there. I can't figure out the sexual (mars/venus) or emotional bond (what it is, what it means), but I'm sure that a spiritual bond exists (neptune/sun).

I had always also heard that the twin/scorpio alliance was doomed as well. However as aforementioned, there are those possibly auspicious mitigating influences: your mutually harmonizing lunar influences; your Mercury& her venus in Sag indicate a place for hope.

Yeah, it truly isn't good idea to overly prod a Scorpio lady unless she has shown definate signs of interest... they admire self-control in a man.
Maybe if you back off a little she will give YOU a sign one way or the other. And if she is interested she definately will; but maybe not in a twins sort of way. Sometimes people think we are being cool & aloof when really we are just being cautious due to being more sensitive than the average person. We get misunderstood in this way so often.

We have a complicated and enigmatic relationship... known her for quite a while. Let's just say there is an unspoken bond (what it is and why it is, is unknown because nothing is said - only felt)...this is the pleasure only a scorpio woman can give. But one has to be willing to accept what that is and I think most people dilute the magic. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? It's hard to put into words, the mysterious power and enchantment of scorpio.
