How to Determine if You Look Better in Black or White

Choosing between black and white clothing depends on your undertones. Cool undertones often look better in black, while warm undertones tend to suit white. Identifying your undertones can help you select the most flattering colors for your skin tone.

I have what you call neutral cool undertone and soft summer season. While black isn't in my color palette I still prefer to wear basic black over white because black happens to be my favorite color and I do think I look much better in basic black. All whites will make my neutral cool undertone skin look too busy. I do like to wear basic white socks because I have a huge contrast against the bottom of my feet which is a very clean white as snow color and my overtoned skin being brown.

I have cool undertones with contrasting features, so I suit bold, winter colours with more blue than yellow and cherry red, rather than orangey red.

I try to wear as much colour as I can. More black though.

I'd like to think I look equally good in both thoguh I prefer white. Colours that literally sap all the life out of me are orange, maroon, purple & lime greens. 🤢 *shudders*

Or is it same to you?

Do you have cool or warm undertones?

How would you even know what you have?

On your wrist if you see more green veins then you have warm undertones. If more blue veins then you have cool undertones.

Hahahahahahaha!!!! Why is it that people still going by that years old debunked thing. People with cool undertoned skin can have green veins with yellow overshadow and people with warm undertoned skin can have blue veins. The only sure fire way to this date to know your skin undertone is do color swatch.

Of course there is another and perhaps an easier way to determine your skin undertone is to look at all 3 of your features (hair color, eye color and skin color) if you have more warm tone features within all 3 of those you are warm toned and if you have more cool tones between the 3 you know you cool toned

I wear all black. Sometimes gray, but only as work clothes. Idk at what point it happened, but I completely stopped caring about clothes. I have 3 requirements. Are they cheep, comfortable, and easy to obtain. Because of that my entire wardrobe of shirts is 100% black or gray Ts. The idea of wearing any other color, or even worse, something with letters or pictures on it is cringe to me. I dont mind or even notice it on other people, but for me, hell no.
