Etiquette question about anonymous donations

Yeah that 's a good policy. Is it tacky to donate in your name then?
It's not really tacky.
Depends how massive the campaign is...
I think when it's just your own circle anon is good.
The person arranging the funding etc can still see that you donated behind the scenes, so it's not like they don't know it was you- which is nice.

For websites like gofundme, etc. is it tacky to donate and not do it anonymously?
I know of some folks who donote anonymously because they feel it's tacky to put their name on it but then tell everyone they donated rather than just put their name on the donation to begin with. That seems worse to me though. Your thoughts?
