How important is height to you? (Is 5 foot 10 medium height or small?

Might be offtopic, but I dont know where else to put that thread. This is a question to the ladies.
For some strange reason, all my friends tell me that I am too small (5 foot 10) I dont believe it, but to be
honest, they make me feel insecure, because they are persistent. They say, being tall makes the man manlier, many woman dont even look at people under 5 11. and my height is simply not enough. I always thought I am good, I am not small but not big either,medium height. Do you agree or is my initial feel right,
that this is garbage. What do you say.

5"10 is doable because you would still be taller than me but no, I do not consider it tall. Tall for a man to me is 6"1 or taller but most men are not that tall, or if so they want short girls who are like 5 ft and that shit is annoying to me because these women are super picky on only wanting to date men 6 ft or more...I'm like bitch you're the size of a 11 year old child, why cant you date a man that is 5"7, 5"8 like you're short, the man will tower over you anyway.
that height list is UNREALISTIC for the U.S., especially the average height for women is 5'3,
and the average height for men is 5'9' ?
so there's actually a lot of shorter people there.

5'10 for a man, in North America at least, isn't small, it's about average height.
I'm just under 5'1 so most men are much taller than me. I don't have a height preference. I've dated 5'4 men at the shortest, and 6'4 at the tallest.

Imo, food at young age has something to do with it. I have average sized parents and both me and my younger brother are between 185 and 190 cm, which is ~6-6.1 feet in 'merican terms.
I guess we were fed well 😄 Those grandma lunches paid off lol. So idk, feed them kids you'll have and a shot at NBA is a legit opportunity!

In Italy is taken to the extremes: you feed them too much they will end up being the ball instead! Now I'm not so sure, despite still making it to the NBA, the average salary for a basketball is as competitive.

It depends on which part of the Mediterraneum you're referring to; men from Croatia/Montenegro/Slovenia are among the tallest, usually top 5.
Well I live in germany, the average height of men is 5"11, so I may not won the gene pool lottery i am solid average, not a model not quasimodo either.. And forget those examples of short celebrities.
They have millions and fame and often good looks. Height matters the least for them.

My brother is 6'7 and we'll I'm abit average of 5'7 3/4 so everytime we go in public he is getting asked how tall are you? brings attention to us. Haha... he does have a hard time buying clothes and shoes.

I do remember wearing platforms on a date and I think I forgot to ask how tall they were or he told me and I forgot , or lied about how tall he was. Because when we met in person I was 2 to 3 inches taller than him with my heels on, but we ate some dessert and played some mini golf after wards. Ackward. So now I have to ask people how tall they are so I know what shoes to wear, and what kind of activities planned too.
I also went on a date with another guy 5 years ago or so, and I was soooo under dressed than the guy was so properly dressed. I felt ackward. So it is important to ask what people are going to do and actually communicate that so I'm not caught off guard. Haha

That's ridiculous. 5foot10 is normal.
I'm 5foot7 and proud of it. I'm taller than many woman and men in my city.
If your really worried about your height don't do so much of lift exercising. You'll get short.
Do yoga it will help, believe me I was 5'3 before I started.

I am 5'2" and my Hubby is 5'6"... Height does not matter when someone truly loves you. 🙂

Technically it doesn't matter but then I notice my vibe is too cold to attract the tiny type. I'm not that cuddly/touchy, so around 5 '7 is usually the average I date because they seem to be less dependent on me publicly showing affection. I'm getting better though!
In terms religious beliefs I'm quite agnostic so I only need the other person to be open-minded and I'm good.
Anyway I don't mind not being in a relationship so it makes more sense to me, when I go for someone, to look for someone tall who represents a challenge. My Aqua mars needs an extra incentive to get going and I guess latently height is one, despite seemingly not caring at all.
I'm not shallow, I can easily overlook boobs and I like any kind of personality - as long as they have a good sense humour - so I'm like "give me a valid reason" as I need to start from somewhere.
In general, no matter the height, rarity is the biggest turn on. I'm usually interested in people I don't see often on the streets and just shock me in every sense of the word: if not height at least features.
