When you apply makeup

What do you like to achieve when you're beating your mug?

What do you tweak, conceal and emphasise when you're slapping a face on?

As a guy I like to look handsome, I don't wear much makeup when I go to work I just wear mac concealer under my eyes just to colour correct the blueishness and I'll neaten up my eyebrows and maybe I'll spray some fix plus and I'm good to go, I don't wear foundation as a guy because that's too obvious but sometimes I'll get a golden brown or tan paint stick and put a few dots around my hairline and jaw just to give dimension and colour to my face, you can't tell it's there because I buff it out like crazy but it looks good.

When I do drag obviously try to look like a chick but I know I'll never completely resemble a girl so I go overboard and really exaggerate my features so my face looks funny, interesting and pretty at the same time, that's what I like to achieve.

so in order for me to look like a chick I need to try and make my face not look so narrow I paint big cheeks, big eyes, eyebrows and that kind of creates a horizontal lines across my face so that makes my face appear broader and plump. its also feminising and eye catching to have a slender nose and big lips and that's how I counterbalance my massive silhouette..



I also love colour therapy and I find it very enriching when I wear the perfect colours that match my skin, outfit, surroundings, you name it I love colours my favourite colour combination is turquoise and terracotta (blue/green and brown/orange) to put it bluntly

I also love the names of colours, I used to have Derwent pencils when I was a kid and I used to love reading their names like Scarlet Lake, or Midnight Blue....I love colour names in makeup like makeup geeks Corrupt is a black eyeshadow that is so black that it has glitter flecks in it but it's still blacker than most pigments and the reason it's called corrupt because if you get any fallout and it lands on your mug after its beat your whole look will be corrupted

Does it even matter if someone's going to kiss it all off

I started wearing make up regularly 4 years ago.

Right now, I'm crazy about matte long wear lipstick. I used to hate lipstick because of the transfer. But now, they finally got long wear right. I was so excited, I was going to start a thread. The richest deepest color saturation and it smells like cake. So, so, happy! My lips are a perfect heart shape and it needs to be shown off everyday. I eat pizza, French my husband, lips still perfect!

My nails. I was always into nails but had difficulty because I didn't know quality polish was important. I have a huge nail kit and lots is polish... from acrylic to gel nails... But, my nails are real. My daughter uses it mostly. I'm wearing the gold for two weeks. I can't stop. I don't want to change the color!

Hey, along the lines of your desire for a "plump" face, I recommend not contouring your nose. It can be a nullifying vertical.

I like natural but sultry looks. I like to play it up.

Ideally, I emphasize on the eyes and eyebrows. I like to curve my arches and elongate my eyes. I also like to bronze up my cheeks, temples, and underneath my jawline. My lips, I feel, are the supporting character to my eyes and eyebrows. I'm not blessed with big lips so I don't try to.

On the daily, I use foundation, nude eyeliner on my lower waterline and khol on my upper, mascara, bronzer, eyebrow pomade, and bronzer. But when I want to really get ready, I pull out my fancy Modern Renaissance and Tarte palettes, setting sprays, eyeliner pens, primers, concealers, and lipliners.

I usually go for browns and tans for eyeshadows but now I go I'm branching out into reds, and I want to get into blacks. I like to push the limit now and then but it's little by little.

A bit of foundation or something like that on my t-zone and chin.

I wish I could skip this, but I always get red patches throughout the day.

Sometimes I powder to set, depending on the finish of my foundation.

Bronzer pretty much all over the face.

I don't like drawn on brows. I fucking hate instagram eyebrows.

I just comb mine with a tinted brow gel. And I never pluck them.

Mascara.

Lip balm or a gloss.

Well I think your natural brows look pretty good. There's barely any patches and you can see them.

I like to wash and moisturize my face so I have that clean and dewy look. I like to put on eyeliner (cat wing), black eyeliner on the upper and lower lashline - as a way to really make my already big eyes POP. I also like to play with different shadows on my eyelid and even lower lashline (for a while, I used a stunning electric blue on my lowerlash line, a sliver on my upper lashpine, and black along the outside of my upper lashline for a look that I loved and everyone complimented.) I use mascara (sometimes just on my lower lashes to create a pouty look.)

On my moisturized lips, I like to apply a soft pink or a fun red to compliment my pout.

It's all about the eyes for me, and a fun and youthful lip (red, if I want men to subliminally think "sex" when they look at my mouth.)

I don't do foundation, and I've only recently done blush to complement my 50s look for my night out to see 'My Fair Lady' at the live theatre. I also darkened my eyebrows a bit for that look - but I leave them alone.
