Gelato has a richer and thicker texture than ice cream and froyo.

I've had gelato. It was just alright for me. **Shrug**

Posted by PV&JellaySame. I like that it's more dense than commercial ice cream and doesn't melt quite as quickly, but that's about it. I'm not a huge fan of the thick, elastic texture. It's a lot lighter on the palate, but I don't consider it superior to ice cream (the high quality, homemade kind, not the supermarket variety). They're very different.

Posted by DamnataUm... obviously, I bought what Fisk recommended.
We are discussing the brand gelato here, right? The Italian one?
Not whatever Murica invented to be funny. If you see any bacon flavored one..you're on the wrong continent homie.

There is Gelato...and then there's ice cream, the minion of Gelato.
