I'm pretty neutral on them. We used to have a nearby pizza place called Vito's that made New York style pizza and it was the best damn pizza I have ever had, too bad it isn't here anymore. I have also had Uno's pizza which is a well known Chicago style pizza restaurant it's excellent as well.
I had forgotten about this, they sell it on the side walks there. I also have had uno's pizza it is very good . we have no pizza here , they call it pizza but it sucks. Best I ever had was at emo's in St Louis. God I lov that pizza.
I'm with NY pizza all the way, infact the only thing I miss about back home is the pizza place. The pizza here is good, but they don't know you're supposed to have eggplant as a topping, and I feel bad for everyone who goes through life not knowing what a garlic knot is...
I ate toasted ravioli, at a place called canetos spelled wrong I am sure, Old jake and I went there. you wate at the bar forever to get a table. most of the food they had was pasta. I also ate at a place called gracie delly? the man named jerry owned it and jake said he made the sauces for all the fancy places. I liked St Louis it was different it was like a big city but it was also like a town I do not know how to exsplain it. I will go to see me mate jake one day.
all of you stay out of st louis its the best keep secert in the u,s. I live here been here on and off for 60 years, O'Connels pub best hamberger? or is it tom's bar and grill? I live in the west end.
I've never had chicago- style pizza (what is it?)...I'm not a fan of the New York style because it's that super thin crust, and I like a fluffy crust, which...Pizza Hut makes fantabulously. 🙂
Phoenix, Chicago style is pretty much the exact opposite of NY style , really thick, lots of cheese. You can't eat it by hand it has to be eaten with a knife and a fork. Pizza Hut used to do one, but it was limited time, which what I hate about Pizza Hut, their best pizzas are always limited time.
Thank you Laz!! I was very curious about this Chicago stuff. It sounds like I would like *it*, more so than the New York style . Mmmm...thick cheesy goodness... 🙂
I bet it does...you live (or used to..) in the pizze capital of the world, so I have no doubt you "know good pizza" better than I do. 😛 Actually....is Italy the pizza capital of the world?? Wow....maybe I should just eat food and not talk about it....
There's a place in Stoughton, MA, called Town Spa pizza that has really yummy pizza. . . The only thing is that people don't make it, it's all done by a pizza making machine. As much as I like the pizza there, I just have to say that I can't appreciate it as much, because there's no actual human skill involved, only done by machines. Oh well. . .
That's weird about Italy, btw. lol. Or I should say..."interesting".
I must admit that I *do* enjoy seeing the pizza people flipping the dough around, smackin' the sauce on there and all of that. We *sort of* have places like that here...but for some reason I like the taste of the friggin' CORPORATE PIZZA MACHINE (ahem, Pizza Hut) better. I'm so weird.
I think i am getting an eating disorder. Every few weeks or so, i get a craving for a particular type of biscuit or chocolate thing, and i will binge on it until i am sick of it. I sit there during the day, away from home, fantasizing about what i am go
My mother and aunt are on this...and it works. I have my reservations about it though, because you can eat things like cheese, bacon, mayonnaise, eggs, etc...(which we all know are not healthy), but yet, you lose weight from restricted carbs (NO bread wh
Does anyone put any stock into that whole "oyster" thing? I love oysters, I always have...but I can't say I've noticed a *real* difference after eating them. That could be because none of my exes liked oysters, so we never ate them together...But even j
it's all I've been eating really for the month...I can get four for 2 euro, so their only 50 cents each. And I haven't even been buying them, because my roommate wanted me to cook for her so she bought all the food. and all I eat is chicken cordan blue
I keep hearing all these women telling me about how great pre-natal vitamins are as far as making your hair and nails grow. And these are not all pregnant women. I've done a little research, and they're damn expensive. I don't want to waste $$$ on some
I have never in my life been able to cook the perfect egg. My goal is to cook an egg, sunny side up, which by my definition means with the yolk NOT broken and the egg white perfectly hard. NO RUNNIES! Runny eggs are THE
Being from kentucky do you eat things like possum pie and what is it a chap at the pub said I should ask you. He said it is a delicacy that all people from the southern part of the U.S. eat.
When I was little, I remember trying out sand, dirt, chalk, some rocks, some play-dough, wood chips, and cigarette butts (my parents used to smoke in the house when I was little and I got into the ashtray). Of course, none of those were very good. The w
What's yours? (excluding calories or the sick feeling of being full)
I would have French onion soup with extra cheese with a perfectly toasted bun and butter. Then, I'd have a chicken cutlet, fried in egg and extra bread crumbs in lots of butter
What are your fast food weaknesses? I always feel like a shmuck after I eat fast food, but sometimes I get a craving and I have to have what I want. Like for example...a Nacho Bel Grande from Taco Bell with NO BEANS. hehehe. Sometimes, I'll even order
i like gim.(sea weed). The dry salty ones. Yes ppl are probably going "EWWWW WUT THE FUUUGGGG" ROFL but its tastey.. everyone should try it. Just go to some asian market, and buy some. But depends which one you buy, becoms some of them are like..not salty
