What's yours? (excluding calories or the sick feeling of being full)

I would have French onion soup with extra cheese with a perfectly toasted bun and butter. Then, I'd have a chicken cutlet, fried in egg and extra bread crumbs in lots of butter so that it is crispy. On the side I'd have mashed potatoes whipped by the cake mixer with a blob of melting butter in the center. I'd also have freshly baked bread and, you guessed it, butter. Brocoli, peas, and chinese fried rice on the side too. For dessert, I'd have strawberries and whipped cream, a chocolate mouse pie (not a slice the whole thing) where the crust is disintegrating, and a sunday in one of those glass goblet bowls from Friendly's with vanilla ice cream, hot caramel, oreo chunks, M&Ms, rainbow sprinkles, whipp cream, and three cherries (not real cherries, ones that have been floating in preservatives and sugar).

Yum

Aww, gotta love THIS topic! I have been lucky enough to have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the city i live in. Right now my perfect meal would be a roasted pork chop on a bed of mash, topped with jus (some kind of sauce) with this lettuce stuff on the side. Yum. My favourite desert would be custard or creme brulee. Picking desert is hard for me cos im such a sweet tooth. I also love sticky date pudding. Actually, any desert would do. Right now i would love something creamy or custardy and cold. A really nice smoothie or milkshake would suffice also, hehe.

Fried horse probably isn't that bad. If you think about it, you've probably already had it.

I use to make a living with my horses and I had a horse one time that broke her leg(kicked by another). My ex-husband ended up having to put her down because we were so far in the mountains and she was in a enourmous amount of pain. She was a huge animal. We ended up making jerky out of her and she was very good. Horse meat is very good but I would never EVER eat it again. I only did it so as not to waste her and because it was either bury her and kill more deer or make use of what we had. I didnt see her go and she only looked like what you get at the supermarket when it came my turn to prepare. There is no way I could have otherwise.

My perfect meal would start with a wine of some kind. Preferably white. And I'm no wine afficionado, so I couldn't care less about the brand. For an appetizer, deep fried oysters on crackers. Then, I would like to devour some Crab Louis (or however you spell that) -- you know, the crab salad thing. With ranch dressing. On the side I would like what my favorite local seafood restaurant McGrath's calls "shrimp-on-the-barbie" (little shrimps, barbequed and stuck on a long wooden shish-ka-bob looking thing, some sort of stick) and with that I'd like a mild kocktail sauce. San Francisco sourdough bread and butter would go nicely with all of this. And keep on bringing the wine.

🙂
