Dark Souls

Does anyone else play this game? It is really amazing and there is a lot of astrological lore in it.

haven't played it myself but my guy friend does..and he's just made a giant sword that astorias wields..really cool..just went to his place to take a look at it..and now he's working on the armour..just looking at the sword made me want to play the game..lol

Well in the second one the symbol for souls is the symbol for cancer. Which makes sense because cancer is about getting to a new area and souls are about leveling up. Also, the whole point of the game is to rebuild your particular soul essence, which is comparable to some ones unique birth chart. And there is also a lot of reference to sun worship which is the basis of astrology. And a lot of the little items are astrologically based, I can't recall any specific ones off the top of my head but trust me, they are in there. Play it and you'll find out, I recommend everyone to play it.

The leo plays Dark Souls. Not a game for me, though. Just watching him die a million times makes me angry. I can't imagine the frustration of my own deaths. I didn't notice a lot of astro stuff, though. The only thing I can remember is that Ornstein has that leo ring, I think, and his helmet is shaped like a lion. I'll have to pay attention next time he plays; I didn't catch the cancer symbol.

It's just a fun game because each time you die the stakes for recovering your souls gets higher and higher to the point of exhilleration.

Yeah, I rage quitted on that game a few times. My Gem friend recommended it for me. I somehow hate his ass for doing it, but at the same time I'm glad he did.

Love it.

I beat the first Dark Souls on PC. Prepare to Die Edition.

Eagerly waiting for the second one.

I've beat all of them including bloodborne. I haven't got the new DS yet though.

Bloodborne was easily the best, bust my favorite is the first dark souls. I didn't Like DS 2 because it was watered down and rated T just so they could sell more copies.

It's really hard.. My fella hasn't made it too far, and he is pretty good at those games.

I've spent hours just dying and getting nowhere. But eventually like any task I'm faced with, I will overcome it. I can't settle for a loss and have a rediclous amount a patience.

Yeah, I always liked Bloodborne better. It has way cooler and scarier characters in it. 😛

And I agree, DS2 was the worst of all of them.

Bloodborne was great. Hard af too. Some of those bosses are pure evil lol

But for me nothing beats playing ds1 and making it past the bell tower and feeling like a boss then the fucking game takes me into blighttown, the most intimidating place to a New DS player, then finally fighting Chaos Witch Qualag for the first time. Gaming gold in my eyes.

The mechanics of DS one are bad when compared to bloodborne and even ds2, but I didn't know that when I first played DS 1 you know? Lol. Playing it for the first time felt normal, because it yet had anything to be compared with. Except maybe demons souls, which was the first big game FromSoftware. DS 1 excelled Demons souls in every aspect imo.

I used to watch my ex play it all the time he loved it.
