So I got to play the Elder Scrolls Beta Online a couple times this past month and it was pretty good for an MMO, though all it really did was make me go back and play Oblivion more. Does anyone else like Skyrim, Oblivion? Or are you excited for ESO?

Not so much for ESO.

I loved TES for lore always will which is probably the only reason I'd want to play it but I've seen nothing special from the game so far. For other reasons though, probably because I do play other MMOs I just feel like ESO hasn't delivered on mechanics.

From that and knowing MMOs depend on its population that is the only reason why I think it'll flop then the enjoyment is taken out because the population isn't there.

I totally agree w/you. It does have really nice updated graphics, but I think the older games have enough gameplay left that I don't even really need to play ESO. If I'm going to commit to a MMO I'd rather spend the money on FFXIV...but if the monthly fee weren't there I wouldn't mind playing it.

From what I understand, Destiny is going to be an MMO version of Halo. I'm really excited about that.

I'm not usually that good at first person shooters, but I definitely want to try it for the scifi aspect. My bf will probably be buying it so I'll get to see it regardless ^^

I think ESO will do fine but not as well as the devs are expecting.

FF XIV: A Realm Reborn looks a lot better to me though.

But it's not like I'll pick up either of them. I'm just not wiling to spend anymore time on MMORPGs.
