Hi all,

I have a Gemini friend who I chat with from time to time. He has a girlfriend and recently I told him about a new man in my life. Suddenly he kind of disappeared which was fine. Then when he reappeared he began questioning me about this new guy and saying he needs to feel him out. See if he is on his game and asking me questions about him. I never ask him questions about his girlfriend because it's none of my business. Are Gemini guys this nosy and why does he want to know all about my relationship?

Yes, VERY nosy. Infact I'm being "Closely surveilled" by one. (see Stalker post a few post under this one). They can't help it. They are the most communicative aka "journalists" of all the signs. Either he wants to know, for your protection or he probably always liked you and wants to size your new guy up to see if he measures up to "his approval"..which you really don't need.

That's funny I'm a Taurus also. Yeah, I'm kind of shocked by his behavior because I thought we were strictly friends and he's even asking me about my relationship with other guy friends we mutually know. This behavior just came out of the blue.

umm...look up thread...you came into this thread and started it all. I simply played along...it's all in fun sweetie, it's just the internet and some strokes on a keyboard...It's really not that serious. The only person entitled is God, not me, but thank you for the compliment 😉 Anyways, use my words as motivation if what I said which wasn't much bothered you. I think he's either secretly fond of you or he probably really wants to look out for you. You don't have to answer or oblige to your friend's questioning, but if he really appears "worried"..tell him you'll be fine. I have close Gemini friends, they are fun to hang around and they are pretty good at "Getting The Scoop" without effort because of their gift of gab. They can be quite charming and can sell ice to a polar bear..eskimo..or however the saying goes. They make GREAT salespeople/reporters/radio personalities or even gossip columnists...the writing skills are nice. My Mercury is in Gemini, and I love to write poems. That is because of the Geminian influence on my chart.

Just becareful, if you don't trust him as far as you can throw him, then don't tell him anything about your new guy.

Yes it would be nice to know how each sign does it. When I'm nosy I'm more like a spy..lol..I would never let on to them I'm investigating. So his direct approach threw me off because ever since I've know him he has had a girlfriend. I'll just see where he's heading with this...He's such a flirt and usually I don't play that game out of respect to his current girlfriend.

Taurusbelle I will keep that in mind regarding what I tell him. Usually I only divulge info on my end of the spectrum and am really ambiguous with the info but he has relayed he will get upset if I don't open up about it so I tell bits and pieces here and there..

Some years ago I was living in a shared house and one of the other tenants there was an elderly Gemini lady. She seemed lonely and when I first moved in to the house she seemed very friendly (although not a well-educated person)and to begin with I enjoyed her company. She seemed to take a great interest in everything about me and what I was doing etc. and I guess I found that flattering. Then after about three weeks of this "the penny dropped" and I realised that this intense interest in me and in every little thing that was going on was not normal or acceptable and I began to be creeped out by it. Eventually after about a year and a half I moved out of that place and yes it was because of her! And apparently she had been kicked out of her previous accommodation for being such a nosey nuisance!

P.S. By the way I wouldn't be a Virgo if I did not pick you up on the unnecessary use of the apostrophe in "Gemini's" here! lol

hmm..thanks for that insight. It's nice to hear of other experiences...don't worry about the grammar correction, if it's wrong I'd rather you tell me then let me continue the mistake.


Update: I did ask him flat out what was up with his line of questioning and he stated he just wanted to get to know me better than what he has so far and so I kind of flipped the conversation onto him. So now he is telling me about himself. I believe what was told to me earlier is true. He is actually interested but he doesn't want to come out and say it, but he has said my personality has drawn him to me. I'm unsure because I know he has a girlfriend (at least I thought he had a girlfriend) and I'm not into disrespecting another person's relationship so I'll keep it friendly.

Well I guess I'll have to wait and see what he does. I have covered all my bases and told the guy I'm talking to about our conversations (not everything)but in case he repeats something I say, I'm covered. He always brings up how he's a Gemini and his tendencies. He's also a flirt and a ladies man so I don't know why he needs any attention from me but we shall see.
