Astrological compatibility...

Do you ever wonder why we put so much of our hearts into astrology? We may or may not marry or commit ourselves to someone with a compatible chart....but why do we even humor this system? It is so crazy to me how vulnerable we have become as a community.....I know that I am very vulnerable to Western astrology...I've tried to atleast put my efforts into Vedic but it's hard when no one else around you follows Vedic placements ha-ha...Anyways, in my opinion we are hooked.

Because we want to learn who we are and to understand ourselves better for the greater good. At least, that's how I see it. I also wanted to know relationship wise, who I was more compatible with. So far it is spot on as I have had two relationships with Libras and am seeing a Leo and the persona of myself and them is accurate. Once you see that, it's sorta hard to just forget about it.

Also looking back, all the signs I had good friendships with were always Air or Fire signs -Was this coincidence before I even followed astrology or attempted to learn? I think not! 🙂

I don't really see people put that much value in astrology when it comes to relationships ...... I see people put way too much emphasis on sex when measuring the value of relationships.

People really don't care what a person's sign is, if the attraction is there. What they care about is what is sexy. And then of course, the relationship falls apart .. rinse and repeat.

Koniucha, yeah me too! Sometimes I sit back and think what if this is all fake lol and we're actually creating ourselves into this persona that the computer says we are. I am suspicious though because people are talking about the New World Order and stuff

See, I have no clue if it's coincidence. My closest friend was a Leo but she was always going through stuff and I was there for her. Then I had a Sag best friend and I literally wanted to be with her all the time...poor thing lol. I had a Pisces friend that was always slick hating on everyone lol but she was a lot of fun. I don't view astrology as the end all be all of whether I'll be comparable with a person, be it friend or lover.

However it's a great tool to understand why someone is the way they are. I can be over emotional and sensitive as a Pisces. Knowing how an Aquarius moon or a Gemini sun (for example) approaches life can help me see things from another viewpoint.

Less misunderstandings. More good vibes.

P-Angel I think you are hilarious. I can tell you actually like pissing people off lol...how much time do you spend online?

Also I agree with what you said...people do base it off of sexual attraction. Human nature wins again. But there are a lot of people that look into astrological systems as well. Can't deny it.

Nor, should they put much stock in it, to value relationship status.

Experiencing another person shouldn't be so limited by prejudices.

Being that the divorce rate is so high now, you really need to be in it for the long haul, anyways. I agree!
