Cap/Gem friendships

I recently started reading about astrology. I find much of it to be true in my case ... except one area. I have quite a few friends who are Geminis and according to what I've read Caps and Gem are just too opposite to have good friendships. Oddly enough, the signs I've read I'm supposed to get along with somehow I don't. Anyone else have good relationship Cap and Gem?

My mother's a Capricorn and we get along, but we have virtually nothing in common. I find a lot of her traits in other Capricorns too and they're traits that annoy the living fuck out me... over the top fussy, bossy, always has to be done their way, they get shitty if you don't take their advice, judgemental, can't handle criticism but LOVE to dish it out, they like to make their problems an issue for everyone else and they also seem to always have someone else to blame... nothing's EVER their own fault. Always someone else.

My mother is about the only Capricorn I can handle (because she's my mother)... I've dated a Capricorn and she was a straight up fucking psychopath of a woman. I have Capricorn friends and aquaintances but I try to keep them at a distance. We Gemini's really don't operate in similar levels to Capricorns.

I've also noticed a massive amount of Capricorn women on dating sites/apps. Not sure if this has any correlation with anything...

Hey, I'm a Capricorn and I have a few good Gemini friends. 🙂 the thing with me though is that my only earth or water is cap sun in the 8th house, everything else is fire or air, also stellium in H9 and Gemini rising so it makes sense that I would be friends with em.

My best friend is a Taurus (Gemini moon) but everyone else I get along mostly is a fire sign.
