Encourage a Gemini to keep going

A Gem friend (another Gem. Not the one I was close with, and not the one I'm going to a rock concert with..) is having a hard time with the routine part of the job he's been doing for a few weeks.
It was three weeks training that he loved because he learned a bunch of things about travels. And he's been in a cubicle for a while but he already wants to quit it.
Hate that he has to follow rules and say the same script over, and over, and over.. And over again.
To the point where he texted me today telling me he just couldn't do it anymore. He was ready to just pack his things and leave.
I tried to encourage him and tell him that he has to stick for a few hours to at least finish his day to not let them down. Explained that it's logical to stay and that tonight I would meet up with him to talk but I have no idea what to tell him.

He needs this job more than anything. Can't afford to just quit.

I know Gems are all about freedom and don't like being told what to do so I'm sure I can't tell him to just suck it up and stop complaining lol

he should feel lucky to even have a job there days!! there are still a lot of ppl out there that are still struggling to find one... if he wishes to be among the many... sorry, this kind of thing just gets under my skin... there are worse things to complain about and he's being petty... suck it up, buttercup!!!
