Famous DISAPPEARANCE Act of Geminis..
I've been communicating online with a gemini guy for about 10 months while I lived in another state. Now I'm set to move to the same state as him (that was predetermined before we met) and I just got the "I dont know what I want in life, lets be friends" talk for the third time. Each time I'm more than willing to go the friend route, because quite honestly, he's a great friend and the positives outweigh the negatives. But it's always him that starts the maybe we should give it another shot line after a few days... I know his personal life has been stagnant and family issues stressful so I understand if he doesn't want any type of commitment and I am still healing from a break up last summer. All in all, I think friends is the best option, and even if it's never irl, better than nothing- so I am backing off on our daily talks, keeping it light and friendly, and making it hard for those "more than friend feelings" he might try. I'm dreading this because he can tear somebody's feelings out if he thinks they're purposely trying to hurt him/ make him jealous..

I know and I have seen many posts in this thread about Gemini guy disappears after few dates or after having good sex. Suddenly no texting and no talking. I have listed several reasons behind it -
1)They like to be chased
2)They like to test if the other person is fine about giving them space
3)They lost interest
Now how to know the real reason behind the disappearance... Any sure shot method to find out!? Once the reason is known other person can decide her actions being confused.
Needs help from Gemini guys!! What if a mature Gemini guy disappears. I have heard mature Geminis are quite straightforward if they don't see themselves into a girl... So why they disappear without confession!?
Well I have certainly had my (more than) fair share of Gemini dealings. Let's see... based upon their pattern I shall use to answer each of these musings:
1)Some(depends upon Venus) like to be chased, but mostly I believe they like to chase..they do like challenges after all 😉
2)I'm not sure if they are into "testing" but, I do think they are rather impulsive and being an Air sign may just go where the wind blows...if they are not yours think of them as a kite you have a VERY long string to.
3)Not interested..They simply will not contact or engage communication with you if this is the case.
Overall, if they are continuing communication they are interested in you for something...only you know what that is. If they want to date you then they will make that known. Everything else is just fun and games.

I completely disagree with like being chased!! I do NOT know one Gem that wants someone chasing them. In fact we like the chase, we like want isn't just easily given. We do like someone that can say no to us and make it a bit of a challenge. This is when you get into their mind, now if they just want to EFF you, that won't matter.
Young Gems can lose interest easily.. The key to any Gem is stimulate their mind and you can get the key to their heart but don't show the eagerness to be with them, until, you know they are hooked. I get kind of scared when someone is pouring their heart out before I'm really connected and ready.
As far as testing, I don't think we test in silence.
The way to know if a Gem is into you is if we are communicating with you, male or female. If we like you, we want to share stuff with you. If you are really close to us then we can pull away out of fear and other stuff but that could be when the testing might kick in. IDK..

I've been wondering about this too. I've been dating and communicating with a mature (or at least he seemed mature) 41 year old Gemini male for the past 7 months.

I can tell you when I was dating my ex it was hard for him to tie me down. He had to kind of tell me he was moving on and start dating other people. It literally took him doing that for me to finally say ok. I really struggled with labelled and I wanted freedom, I would disappear on him all the time. I wasn't ready to settle down. the gem guy i dated loved when i got feisty with him, im pretty sure he even said things on purpose just to get a reaction out of me, they do that once they know you will react and they get bored. They will start their own drama. also me and this gem were friends before we dated and he told me he actually likes it when girls come up to HIM. He likes the confidence and he is very shy so he needs the other person to balance so not all gems like to do the chasing, My gem had moon virgo, gemini venus. That's true Gemini guy disappears but for me its not for the three reasons you mentioned. I don't like to be chased neither to test someone. If I lose interest I will tell them straight away even before having sex because it's all start with mind stimulation. I don't call it disappearance but going into solitude, the real inspiration comes on that idle moment. And I think it's all for the goodness of the relationship.

You neither keep things yourself nor be "feisty" but share things that happened to your or in this world when he was away and ask him whether did he enjoyed his meditation hehe. Make things ease for him and he'll take you too in solitude. I know it's frustrating for not hearing from your loved one for days but I am pretty sure in every single moment he is thinking of you if he loves you.
