Gemini male attitude change?

So I've been friends with a Gemini guy for almost 2 years.... After one drunk night, where he said he loves me and expressed feelings, he has been teasing me about other guys and if I don't respond to him during the night he will say something along the lines of "it's fine if you're with a guy, I won't judge you 😉" I feel a touch of jealousy in there but that could be me over analyzing and hoping he likes me behind the weirdness.

All this sudden odd behaviour after he expressed his feelings? What's going on.. Are my instincts wrong?

He likes you, he told you, so he is teasing cause he doesn't know if you like him back.

How should I react? I'm not great at the dating game. I'm either so into you and want to pamper you all the time, or I'm just your friend and can't express myself. And I don't want to risk being rejected. He seems like the type to chase until I return the feelings....

Yes, you did! ok I am not getting into aspects here...but only surface level compatibility. Anyway,

I think you guys have good communication (on same wave length) understanding...there is going to be major hurdle of understanding with the Venus(love) I know this first hand. He is very conservative/sensitive/not trusting in terms of giving his heart, and you(like me, Veuns Leo) are going to be more playful, showy...This is going to prob be the most difficult obstacle to be honest. I can see the attraction for each other though, but when it come to deeper...again, the moon(emotion) is completely different. He being Cap moon going to be more serious and you being Leo moon going to want to play...but overall you being Virgo(conservative) he is attracted to that and it may work. Hope any of that made sense!

Gems will poke at their luv interest to get a response, and it will be in a silly way so is it disarming, but do not be fooled by the hidden intentions of it. he wants to know if you are interested as well, and with the Venus Cancer you will really have to prove your love for him in a serious way.

How should I prove it in a serious way? You are correct. I'm very playful! I feel like he doesn't like it very much and that is why he is teasing and testing me about other guys. I wish I could trust that he wouldn't be scared off, I would have engaged myself already.

Yes Virgo51991, you are like me(Venus Leo) you will have to cage the lioness and show vulnerability and caring. Basically kinda mother the guy but in a sexy caring way...anyone else wanna advise? Venus Cancers...
