Future reference: When a Gemini is shy around you.....how to proceed?

Do you sit there quiet with them?

(or) Do you force conversation?



My venus and mars are both in Leo therefore I choose the second choice.

They are SO nervous. I think they're so adorable each time.

Tbh I think I'm more interested than they are but they show it more. But that's what I'm assuming.

Since Geminis don't strike me as the love at first sight type.

@Instantkarma - Lol I mean I know that they like me. I'm not confused about that.

They do show it more....theynervously ramble, ask empty questions, awkward body language, they try to be "cool". Geminis tend to have what people call "bad nerves" so it's obvious. For me I just smile and make jokes. They laugh and smile HARD too. I'm a nervous too so I know I'm not that funny in the moment.

but yeah I kind of knew they don't do love at first sight so it's just their anxiousness being so overt.

Yes, I know I'm nervous around the person I'm attracted to and I take time to get close to them. I would be great to everybody else and ignore the guy Im crazy about. I may even fake fight with him. 😢

And you are so right, our body language would give us away. When we feel deeply, we get anxious and feel overwhelmed. We take time to come to grip with our ability to love/like someone intensely. So we end up messing it up! 😢 If our partners are patient with us and encourages us to open up, we don't do all that badly!

You seem to know Geminis very well! Very few have understood us and we hide our emotions, so its refreshing to see your post! :-)

I have ton of Gemini people in my family and any guy I'm instantly smitten by from the first meeting always, always, and did I mention always? are Gemini guys that's where the familiarity comes from.

I think we could be happy together but I never get that far with them. *sadface* lol

I do genuinely like them though. We have a lot in common, they complement me, and I can do for them also. I also know they secretly want an emotional connection even though they always talk about having mental connection so much & that's something I very much so want.

Awww, I'm sure we mess up tons of time! We as a sign don't like to be vulnerable-- Emotionally vulnerable,I think.

I don't like it and the fact its an aury masculine sign doesnt help! So I do struggle to express my emotions.

And yesss! We want an emotional connection. Geminis feel a lot. Just that, we are very careful about exposing ourself in a situation where the other person could take advantage of us. Imagination! Smh

Also if the other person plays a single mind game, it changes the way we perceive them.

Why do you think it doesn't go further with Gem guys?

With them, you may have to be mysterious but be stable. They need to cone back for more I believe. Its not about sex, I think.

Lol basically it comes down to...

When I'm genuinely interested vs. When I'm using someone as an emotional outlet

(ie. Gemini vs. the non-Gemini guy that's usually lurking around me)

When I'm genuinely interested I'm really interested. I'm excited! - I'm ready to have fun!, go out with them, talk, get to know about them, joke, hang out, or wind down...basically I'm all in but I don't show that - I just feel it.

But all I get from them is ....quiet. I start to feel like they aren't trying. As a guy and for a sign that's all about talking they sure do leave a lot of silence with me. Then it gets in my head that maybe they are y'know they're "just not that into me". We run into each, they know where they can find me if they wanted to...but they just don't...and at the same time when we do talk they don't ask for my number or make real plans for a possible date or anything.

I come to this realization. I pull back then I stop being like this giddy school girl around them...I'm still friendly but more...polite. But I don't do that to forcing conversation anymore. I still smile and tell them it's nice seeing them and walk away and glance back and surprisingly they're staring at me looking hurt.....they look..... really hurt. I'm shocked and I start to think...maybe they really were interested more than I gave them credit for and they actually have some longevity behind that interest?

I run into them again and they are VERY cold and very done . The end. lol
