gemini looking after scorpio (health)

I have a friend (scorpio woman)

Her ex is a gemini man.

The scorpio has psychosis. What would compel a gemini to look after them everyday? Love (romantic or platonic), friendship or because it's the honorable?

FYI, they leave within 60 secords of each other, work together.

I'm not sure if it's taking care of they every day. Cause it's her mother and the ex.

Seeing as it's psychosis I'm not sure how you would take care of them. Making sure they take their pills and just be there for them—

Just depends on what kind of psychosis. They might not be able to do basic tasks even with medication. Might need to be watched for possible self harm as well.

you mention self harm, I see her arm and body, there are scars, bruises and cuts. However that could just be non self harm issue. Or as you say cause of basic tasks issues.

is there a cure for psychosis or a way to reduce it?

She drinks and comes from a divorced family if that's of use.
