Geminis & depression?

Hi everyone.

I'm new here & newly involved with a Gemini. We've only had a few dates & he is a gem, or least he seems to be.

Has any other female been involved with a Gemini male who suffers with depression? My new friend suffered a head injury about 6 yrs ago & suffers from migraines & depression he just told me.

We had a weekend planned of doing things. He called Fri evening to say he had a migraine & went to bed. So we planned on doing something Sat during the day. About 11 he calls & says he just woke up, he'd be at my house about 4 or so. Around 2 he calls & says he fell back asleep after talking to me & he was really down & didn't want to go out.

Both times he did sound like he was sleeping but I'm new to him & he to me & frankly I am suspicious.

I've never dealt much with peeps who suffer from depression, nor with a Gemini.

Any insight will help. Maybe I am over reacting but I just wonder since I don't know him that well maybe he's playing me?

Well,I can comment on depression at least,yes theres alot of sleeping for a person suffering from depression.They rarely know it's something mental that makes them feel like they don't want to get out of bed and just get tired alot and have little to no energy.They also can be very moody by having to get because they literally have to mentally force themselves to get up and going,because of the mental state they're in thier bodies are just dead weight pretty much because they alot of the time feel they have nothing to live for or look forward to.

VL, I know a few people who suffer from migraines and from what they have told me is that they can make you miserable. Really a burden on life! So if you think that he is worth it and you like him which it sounds like you do. Just be patient with him. I think that he really does like you. Geminis and Aquarians are two signs that are very tough to figure out. You only learn a little about them as time goes along. Does he take anything for his depression?

Oh and what sign are you VL?

I am an Aquarius & so far, we get along great. It hasn't been that long though.

He does take anti depressent meds, I'm not sure what kind.

I know he suffered a massive head injury in 1995 & has suffered from the migraines & depression ever since.

From what I have seen so far, he is a very intelligent articulate person. Very fun to be around. And I do have patience.

I'll wait it out, was just trying to get a few opinions from others 🙂

Well Im a gemini female and I must say that. I have experienced a migrain one time in my life and the pain was soooooo excruciating that it made me cry...I could not open my eyes the light was just two much and when I did it made me so sick that I was praying to the porcelain god "in the dark"! So I know the feeling as far as the migrains go. As far as depression goes I dont know the extent of his I know that I have been there (have not taken medication although it has been recomended but im too stubborn) Im to on the go I get down but the way I am and most of my friends and family that are gems are the same way we just keep going! We enjoy company we are fun and we love to entertain! So im not sure what his deal is. My dad is a gemini and he is a go with the flow kinda person. He dated alot of woman in his younger years. And i have just recently met a gemini man (but im not interested as im on love with a capricorn) but i noticed that he will call and then he wont for like a week. He always calls me on the weekend and wants to go out. But i will not hear for him for days then he just pops up when I ask what hes been up to hes real aloof!! LOL we are good at that I know hes a little player!!! But I also know that you can handle him if you are an Aquarius just be your self! Good luck
