Geminis? please comment :)

OK so i'm a leo girl met this gemini 2 years ago at the park through some mutual friend..and we liked each others company..he than added me on whatsapp and for some weird reason we had a fight after 2 weeks..and he disappeared..i didn't contact him as well.. after 6 months i messaged him and he replied..we started chatting again for a month and he disappeared once again..and than he returned after 3 months to wish me on my birthday and never messaged again..now after 1 year i wished him a happy birthday to which he replied "thanks"..i didn't know what to say after that..
does that mean he doesn't like talking to me?

He was just being nice... there is not much you can say back to a HBD wish after one year without contact.

You can try asking him if he s doing something special today and try to get a convo going on. but if his replies are short he isnt probably interested in talking much with u and is being polite.
When we like someone we talk, talk, talk... even if its only as friends.

his birthday was two days ago..so i cant ask him about his plans... and i really don't know how to initiate the conversation.. i didn't like how he just disappeared in between so that's why i didn't contact him..but hez fun to talk to.. :/

I bet he finds you either extremely boring or controlling. Keep him as your FWB not more than that. For long term lovely relationship get an Aries or Sag.
