Leo man and Gemini woman

Any other Geminis been in a relationship with a Leo? How did it work out? What were some issues you had?

My exhusband (Leo) and the father of my daughter has asked me out several times and I said yes. We got along great and his exwife was the only issue we had. Instead of dealing with her like a mature adult, I panicked and ran. I am surprised he is still interested in me after I ran like that but he seemed to understand that I couldn't handle her at the time. We have remained friends and he is a fantastic father.

Here's a little more about my Leo. He has treated our daughter like a princess since the day she was born. After we split he continued to take her on daddy/daughter outings, she is a tiny thing but he still opens doors for her and allows her to walk in first, will bring her flowers for their outings etc. When we were still married he told me his goal in life besides providing for his family was to make sure his wife and daughter know they are beautiful, loved and deserve the best. Said he wants his daughter to grow up knowing what to expect from a man when she gets to the point in her life to begin relationships. Not sure if this is typical of a Leo or not but its absolutely sweet to watch.

Thank you Maddy. Yeah, this Leo is very loyal too. Even our divorce was friendly. We just did what was best for our daughter given the circumstances. We agreed on 50-50 custody and have never had an issue. He has been a steady friend this whole time. He has never bored me although I will admit it took me awhile to initially get him to loosen up a bit when we first started dating. I know he felt awful about not being able to protect me and our marriage from his crazy ex but it seems he has her under control and has used the court system to do so. I'm very excited about our weekend plans but we will take things slow.

Oh wow that sucks ThisandThat. My Leo ex isn't lazy at all thankfully. He has a great work ethic and was a fast and thorough learner in other areas. So far so good for us! We had an amazing time this weekend and have more plans lined up.

The best relationship I've had was with a Leo. I'm a male Gemini, so she was a female Leo. I tend to attract Leos and get along with them pretty well. We got along great and had a fun time together, an overall pretty easy and calm relationship. The things that ultimately sent things sour was our lack of closeness, we were both very independent. Things that were more difficult for me was her skepticism of my ways (which is something us Gemini's get far too often even though we're incredibly honest) and her lack of input, ideas, and help into the relationship. I felt like I did a lot of the work, and even when I stepped back to let her take some lead, she didn't do anything.

I think Leos need a little more attention and compliments than a Gemini will give them, so watch out for that. She also got really frustrated with my ability to logically explain everything and neutralize any arguments that would stir. She was a bit of a drama queen, but I was easily able to neutralize any arguments she tried to start (she later told me she would purposely try to argue with me because she found it so difficult to do so!). She was pretty smart so she actually understood and didn't take offense to my ability to do that. I read Leos like to stir up some drama from time to time, so it probably frustrated her a lot not getting her drama in.

Can't think of anything else big on my end really, she was intelligent so she provided me plenty of stimulation. She was a good listener so I got to talk my head off when I wanted and she enjoyed my ramblings. The sex was great. I wouldn't hesitate to have another relationship with a Leo. I would probably date her again if she came back and she had a different job (I didn't agree with what she did for a living and she did it mostly because of the money, which may have festered into the breakup).

It's a weird situation since we were married before and have a daughter together but we now find ourselves flirting with each other again and I find myself in that akward position of getting nervous around him again. He keeps teasing me about that but he knows that's a good sign because not much makes me nervous. I forgot how nice it was to be with someone who knows me and accepts all my quirkiness and actually likes that about me. We talk every day and have gone on dates every other day. We haven't told anyone we are dating so tomorrow his mom is watching our daughter while he goes on a date lol.

Hi, I noticed this topic is 4yrs old but I have this problem . I am a Gemini presently dating a Leo man. We have been on and off for 3yrs. So we finally decieded to be serious this year. I noticed he is too controlling , possessive, jealoused. Wants to know every move I make etc. Admist this, I love him and am scared telling someone hi in a resturant when he is around. I understand why you mention the cheating, but not all gems are like that...
And about the coldness, I'm very warm with my love ones. But if I sense that my heart is not safe in your hands I can de very cold and distant.

No, we're not. We're flirty, yes, but we're not cheats. I once dated a Leo and he was the one who cheated on me. And I wouldn't date a Sag, too, if I want a long term relationship. They are more of the players and are only good with short term commitment. And for me, my ex-Leo man had a high dramatic tendencies, expected me to read his mind and so jealous, and was pretentious so he would always be the center of attention when we're in a group setting. He cheated on me and would never take accountability and would always turn the tables in a dramatic fashion. He's worst than a neurotic woman -- such a dramatic, histrionic man. I must have dated a negative Leo. I'm sure there are good Leos. But I also have a Leo female friend who have these tendencies. For a Gemini, that's just irritating and suffocating. Lessen the drama, don't manipulate to control the relationship, and give space for a Gemini to express herself and let her talk as a gemini does not intend to steal the limelight from you. Expressing ourselves is just like air that you breathe, very important for a Gemini.

Yur Leo husband really cares about you. My aunt (leo) married a Gemini (male). They got divorced because they were driving eachohther crazy. Both attorneys, no kids. After the divorce they didn't speak to each other for a little bit. (They dated around) But now they are back together ( of course un-wed) they don't need it and they get to bond on how terrible their dates were. Its hilarious.l They've found a way design their union so they can stay together because they do love each other very much. He is BRILLIANT. And so is the Leo aunt. They are whacky fun. God damn trip to Whazoo.


I am Leo female and I love Gemini very much. Romantically, I would like the Gemini to be older than me. Cos if we are close in age..... it becomes a little brother and sister, best friend kind of deal. Which is ok. (Same with Aquarius).

Thats sweet to hear. BUT- i don't believe you. All Geminis Ive known (male and female) have been serial cheaters starting with my father

ITT: immature leos are horrible and/or immature gems are horrible for dating... Maybe it could work if BOTH the leo and gem are mature.

I am friends with gems and dated one. I love them as friends cause of the playful banter, lighthearted fun, and silly conversations. The one I dated was fun and a great cook. The problem was her drinking. I just couldn't deal with every other conversation referring to some sort of alcohol.

Thats horrible. I am seeing many negative leos. The only problem is that none of them are "leos". They have a cancer or virgo dominating their charts. I guess i mad a comment on gemini based on what i read and a few bad experiences. I have Gemini friends and love them to death.

kris, get your head out of your butt for a moment, you know damn well there are Leos with Leo dominant that are negative as well. I've met a few believe it or not.
