Making A Gem Gal Feel Special

Yeahhhhhhhhhh okay so i NEVER post in this forum, hardly ever. Leaning more toward never! BUT.. I Need you guys's advice,.. 🙂 My Gemini Brothers girlfriend is moving in with him, they been dating awhile. She has NO female friends here at all! My mom met her but doesnt like her, of course, she doesnt hardly ever like anyone anyways. Shes like 2 years younger than me. I want to make her feel special and welcomed. Any girl that can tame my brother has to be one hell of a woamn. By the way, I know she is a Gemini, her bday is May,24. Shes due to arrive here later tonite. And i offered to make them a special dinner.... Any ideas? She doesnt know anyone here but my brother..

i don't know about making anything fancy... i'm a meat and potatoes girl. but, just talk to her and make her feel included and she will think that's special. 🙂

My brother said she isnt a health nut at all, and usually keeps one of those ziplock big bags of sour patch kids in her house. lol

just treat her equally and dont act different just cuz shes there.....also i love it when people have interesting magazines laying around their tables, or just their house in general 🙂

Me being me is pretty damn awesome as it is, i wasnt asing how to act, i act like i always do,.. myself. lol I just wanted to know would flowers be over the top? and wine? or no? ..thats all... Anyways i am making homeade lasagnea with cabernet sauvignon wine. I bought a couple botles of it at the wine tasting i went to. Its vintage 1962. Soooooo i hope its well. I baked homeade bread with italian herbs. I Got her some flowers and a card that says " Welcome to the family" i hope thats not too corny.. LOL.. They will be here in 30 min, and dinner will be done in 45 min! eeeeeeeek!

1962 Beaulieu Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, It was very bold and robust. OMG! We have sooooo much in common, and they stayed the night and this morning she made me breakfast, and than we went and got our nails done and went shopping. Shes awesome..

i think the fact that you took so much time and concern to make things special for your brother's GF is really cool.

i'm a gem and i love doing things for other people that make them happy. i often find, however, that in my endeavor, sometimes the recipient of my affection etc. either feels overwhelmed or fails to appreciate my generosity. and it makes me feel bad sometimes. you've probably experienced this as well.

so i'm happy for you that your efforts were met with a very thankful and appreciative response. sounds as if you two clicked and all is well. props to you for asking for advice and going with your "gut" to make things happen to the best of your ability.

i love people who aren't afraid to step up to the plate and do something for someone else. it's takes fortitude and heart. It takes character and a little humility as well.

Yeah, my brother and his GF, Are alike, and i think for being the same sign they actually compliment each other well. She came over last night and we hung out and watched that new show Against The Wall on lifetime. I had all 3 episodes on my dvr. She brought the popcorn and i made homeade cookies and sweet tea. I have 7 siblings, My Gem brother is my favorite sibling,because he always kept my secrets and never ever judged me for anything i have done. Anytime we have dinner at my grandmas, my grandma yells OH GOD Are you two in the sam eroom again? We usually have everyone laughing. Hes a cool guy and i am just so happy hes finally with a cool chick,... my secret, i love geminis. My brother, is my fav gemini 🙂

I dated another gemini once who's birthday was actually May 25 haha. Besides the fact that he had some obvious personal issues, we got along great. I always understood him and we were never judgemental of one another. We split up because his chosen profession had him traveling all over the state and country and I didn't want to deal with it anymore. Looking back, we didn't have the STRONGEST chemistry, more of an unspoken, almost sibling like (not to sound creepy) bond.
