Hey Geminis! I'm curious about a few situations related to Geminis 🙂
A) This Gem friend of mine dated a girl, a Libra, for a week 7 years ago. She played him, lied and for her, it was a sex thing only. He had hopes of dating her but she was a drug addict and it didn't work out. Then, 3 years later, they talked again briefly. But nothing happened. They lost touch. Both their lives changed. She had a kid, was in an abusive relationship, my Gemini friend met someone, got married, had a kid, divorced, went back to school. Last December he saw her commenting on someone's profile on Facebook and he started talking to her. They reconnected, flirted, sexted. He helped her leave that abusive relationship and right after they decided to try again. It lasted about 2 weeks. He ended things because she's very insecure and she invited my Gem friend over while he son was there and he said things were awkward. The sex was also bad. Anyways, what would cause a Gem to try with the same person a third time if it didn't work out the two other times?
B) Let's say a Gemini lies to someone, is confronted with the truth, keeps lying, etc. What's the best way or things to say for him to feel safe and actually tell the truth?
A. Gems will usually come back if they have feelings for the person because we are about possibilities. Changing, growing, learning, experiencing all have deep meaning to gems as the human spirit has so much potential.
B. When you are genuinely accepting of a gem you can get just about anything from them and a part of a gems defence mechanism, is to evade unpleasantness in whatever form it takes. They would often prefer to spin you a story rather than to disappoint or harm another and themselves. This will often backfire on a gem, until they learn. Confrontations are avoided as much as possible so you should approach a gem with some tact. The judgemental approach won't get you very far.
A) Over time, I tend to gloss over the bad or annoying things that happened in a relationship and just remember that I cared for the person and that we had some good times. So, at times, I have "retried" an ex. At first, things went great. But then, I began to remember the annoying things that ended the relationship in the first place and knew I couldn't do it again.
Since years passed between each of his meetings with the Libra, your friend may have been doing the same thing.
B) I rarely lie, but:
If I tell a small lie and am confronted in a nonaggressive way, I'll probably admit it.
If I tell a huge lie, I'm probably going to stand behind it (because if a situation was serious enough that I felt I had to lie, it's probably serious enough that admitting it could be harmful to me or someone else). The only thing that might work is to let a lot of time pass...so long that I feel that it doesn't even matter anymore if I lied.
