My guy friend

Has been a long time acquaintence since I moved North when I was younger. We've always kept each other at arms length but always caught up with each other every blue moon. Nothing serious just light hearted conversation.

Never had any intimate interaction. I found it odd that since he heard about me being divorced thru mutual friends, I see him around more often. He's everywhere I am, comes to me to make small talk. Two weeks ago was interesting. I went out with my friends and he was there. We talk and it felt different. It scared me honestly. He seemed more in tune with what I was saying, I guess. Conversation got a whole lot deeper. Moved to another room away from everyone else and talked about a lot. I didn't even notice we were in the dining room talking 2 whole damn hours.

He asked a lot of questions. Now usually we make small talk but last night he was real personal. I knew of him but didn't really know him. We realized how much time we were away from everyone and rejoined. For the rest of the night, he literally hovered over me. The party ended, he walked me to my car, we chatted some more, exchanged numbers and left. He calls every day. Ok, he likes me, no biggie. The pursuit made me feel desirable but the intensity scares me. Very cool dude, gentleman but it's not the right time. I
