Pisces arguing with Gemini mother. HELP!

As the title suggests, me and my mother always seem to argue over things that are stupid to me. It's always over things I think are trivial. On top of this, from my perspective she seems to twist everything to make me feel bad, is this a common Gemini thing? So there any thing in the signs that cause this and is there anything I can do to minimise the conflict? Any help would be brilliant! ??

As an example? I talk in a very blunt and monotone manor and don't like to sugarcoat things. She says I talk to her like crap but I talk to everyone in the same way and they don't complain. I've grown into a person who goes with the flow and does whatever comes to mind, maybe that's it?

As for being a "mammy's boy", I grew up without a father but still I wouldn't say I am one. Hope this meets what you want
