Is there any chance? I reaaaaaally like him. He's sweet, kind, loving, and very giving but I'm afraid that he might be just like my dad. My dad is the exact same way and sign but he wants waaaaaay too much attention from me. And when ever he does little things he wants me to stop my whole world for him even when I'm busy... And when I tell him how I feel he gets all buttsore about it... I appreciate everything my Daddy does for me, but sometimes it can be too much when ever he wants me to stop my world for things that are in some instances extremely mediocre.
I really hope that this Gem guy is different from my dad... Cause if he isn't I don't know that our relationship, as good as it is, will even survive.
My brother is a gemini and his fiance' is a pisces. He proposed on their 10 year anniversary, which was just a few weeks ago (they got together right after high school, both of them wanted to take it steady). They already own a home together though, and have been living together for a few years, so you know they've decided to get married for the right reasons 🙂
It can definitely work, but the only way you're going to know for sure is if you actually give it a chance...
I'm a Pisces female, and my first husband was a Gemini ... it was HELL.
However, other people's relationships aren't yours, and what they experienced has absolutely NOTHING to do with what you might experience in life.
If you are going to compare him to your father ... then it's already doomed before you've even given it a chance based on this man specifically because you've already taken notes about expectations.
My best friend is a Pisces girl who is dating a Gemini guy and she said she thinks he and I are basically the same people...mischievous, irresponsible at times, a lot of fun but not always consistent...haha.
But I'd have to agree with P-Angel, everyone's relationship is different. Its scary to give someone a try, but if you already project the image of your father on this guy then you are condemning your interactions to follow suit. Don't let this be a foregone conclusion.
