PUPPY TIME!

I just had to share this with you guys. I'm FINALLY getting a puppy!!!!!!

I haven't had a dog since i put the love of my life to sleep in 2002. I have been kinda looking but not. I have been waiting for that right situation, right dog, you know..

So She's finally coming!!! I am flying her up from Texas so the poor thing is going to go into shock up here in the Frozen Tundra!!

I have shared that life has been pretty morbid for me for the past 3-4 months. This puppy has lifted up our spirits and is bring such joy to us and she isn't even here yet. I'm rescuing her but i think she is really rescuing us. Maybe i can get out of this depression having to focus on this puppy! The past month i think the only person on the planet i like is my bull. LMAO

Congratulations Baby grl! I adopted two 5-year-old Maltese dogs from a rescue a year ago (their owner had lost her home to foreclosure). I found them on petfinder too. They have been complete miracles in my life. Best of luck with your new puppy!

i miss my cats, but i cherish each moment i had with them. hopefully we will be able to adopt soon.

Thanks you guys!! I'm dying here!! We are getting her on Saturday. The woman who has her is driving 5 hours from Corpus Christi to Houston so my pup has a direct flight! Isn't that the best!!!!

Roxxy Rene is going to be her name. My Bull picked it, after his daddy 😢 She isn't potty trained, but i can potty train a dog with my eyes closed; especially in winter. People are calling ME crazy for geting her in Winter. I think they are crazy for preferring to potty train in the summer. Winter = i need to get back in the house cuz it COLD! lol

My house is puppy proof and now it's just sitting and waiting time. Its starting to feel like she is never going to get here. I'm sure i'll be posting on here in the next few weeks, asking for a puppy break. LMAO

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!


E-gem - awweee!!! 11 isn't that old for a cat. They can last 18 years!!! 🙂 I just love rescuing 🙂 i have been allll over Petfinder.com. But i had to keep forcing myself to wait for "that" dog. whatever it would be. You know, that right situation. Iwish i could get another kitty, but i will have my hands full with the one i got and this puppy. I can see tom and jerry all over my house already!

Ginger - don't you love it! you can't imitate or fake that love from them. That's why i love both dogs and cats, you get somethin different from each of them. But it's all unconditional. THAT you can't get anywhere else!!

Awe, i'm sorry about your cats 😢 I had to put my last dog to sleep in 2002 and it almost killed me. It's been that long since i have had another one. And it's kinda odd, the other night i got so emotional about the one i had. I mean EMOTIONAL, i was crying and all the emotions of her gone flooded over me. I didn't expect it. I will never forget her, she was such an exceptional dog. I still have her gold chain collar hanging in my car on my mirror. 😢 I know she was a once in a life time dog.

I hope you will be able to adopt soon too 🙂 The right one will be waiting for you 🙂

How exciting, BaBy-GrL!!!!!!!!!!!!! pixpixpixpixpixpix....hahahhahahahha I just adopted a cat from a shelter in November and it was crazy. They had 100 cats there and another 100 in foster care. I found her on petfinders.com - went in, literally grabbed her and ran out. I couldn't bear it. She is 11 years old and such a sweetheart. Older cats have a hard time finding a home. Despite all that - she is full of "catness" loves to play and lots of energy.....LOL....although you wouldn't guess it from this picture!
