Sharing - too much for a Gem male?

My Gem BF is amazing. We've been dating a few months. I'm a Cancer female and we are big on emotion and sharing our emotions. Their are times when my BF as been super sweet and I just want to tell him how amazing he is BUT I get the impression, it would be "too much for him" to hear. I've given him "praise" reports if you will, about how great he is but he wasn't as receptive as I thought he would be.

I guess I'm trying to find the balance betwee not freaking him out but also letting him know that what he's doing I like and more importantly I appreciate.

He actually does share a lot. It's more me wanting to share with him.
His bday is 6/15 - I'm not sure where that puts his Venus. Do you?

OK - will look into that. He's made it clear where we stand - he's into me etc... I, sometimes, would just like to say exactly how I'm feeling about him when I'm feeling it lol. But when I second guess myself, I tell myself to shut up lol.
