What the Heck.

There's this gem dude--we've only been speaking for 3-4 months now--AND used to be just 'friends', but now it's grown to be 'more' than that. He lives long distance from me, but we speak nearly every day.

I can't 'break' up with him.

I try to, mostly, often, and he ends up talking me out of it. He's been in far more relationships than I have, and he's two years younger than me! (I'm 23.) But he always basically talks about being faithful to me...

Is this a joke, or what? Because I can't wrap my head around this. YES. Many women hit on him/he has old flames that are GOOD friends now, which makes me uncomfy. But, for the most part, he seems genuine...

Is this a joke or what— I don't want to believe this. I thought you Gem boys didn't like getting attached, and at so young an age...

Well, we met briefly at a bookstore but didn't really hit it off there. We spoke a lot online afterward (since I live on the West Coast and he went back to the East), and since then ... well, that's how it's been.

And, 'more than friends'--gradually beating around the bush until now that we've established that we're..well, okay, we haven't established anything. But he goes out of his way to tell me all the time that he's passed this girl up and that, that he wants/can't wait to see me, etc. (We're both in College and it's term now). That he's 'loyal'. And he gets jealous...a lot. Over really simple things, sometimes.
