Your Childhood

Hey, I don't post here, normally, but I just want some input from all you Gems out there. My grandson was born into your beautiful sign (he's just an infant) and I'm kind of curious what to look for in him that is relative to his birth sign.

Do you remember what you were like as a child? Does your family members tell you things about you that could help me in my search for traits in him?

Thanks for responding. This sounds like he'll be a pretty good child. The talking all the time, might be a little nerve wracking, but at least, the incessent chatter will be because he is asking question - where, when, why and how. Curiosity is a wonderful quality, it will help him learn.

I can't wait until he gets older. I mean, I love that he's a baby, but, I can't wait until he can talk - so he can ask all his questions.

First, congratulations on the birth of your grandson! You'll be in for quite an adventure because like others have said, gemini children are very active. As a child, I never took naps and my mom said I would rarely sleep as a baby. Come to think of it, I rarely sleep now...

Basically, I was a strange gemini child: extremely quiet, very shy, and rarely flirtacious. In school I was very studious and analytical, and got along with just about everyone. On the downside, I would be as sweet as sugar one minute, but very harsh the next, so prepare yourself for moodswings! Chances are your grandson will be moody at some point. When this happens, just give him space. Don't take his moods seriously and if he says something harsh, don't take it personally. Although geminis don't always show it with their occasional cruel words, they deeply love those close to them.

I have never personally approved of those harness-like attachments they sell to mothers to strap around their toddlers when they take them out shopping. It always makes me think the woman is walking her dog. However, I would strongly advise the mother of a Gemini child to buy two or three of them, just to be on the safe side.

I can see your logic, even sympathize with it, but I'm not so sure about play??pens and Gemini children. Confinement in a small space can amount to cruelty with a little Geminian, whose entire nature urges him to seek, to explore, to learn. Even worse than the physical curtailment is the mental .boredom of being stuck on one little blue and pink plastic rectangular pad, with the whole exciting world out there to see and enjoy. Periods of being cooped up in a playpen should be brief. Too much restriction and hampering of the Geminian freedom can lead to emotional depression he may not out??grow so easily. Remember, he's an air sign, and air must move. Make sure he has a variety of toys and plenty of bright books to look at when you must keep him fenced in.

All i know is i was a handful for my mom. She said i was always smiling and everyone loved me except anyone that had to watch me. i climbed everything.. nothing was safe.. i had my stomach pumped 23 times getting into things.. i fed my cousin poison.. so she had a pumped record too..LMAO My gramma wouldn't let me come over unless my mom was with me, up until i was about 6 years old ccuz she couldn't keep after me. i was a cray crazy teen too.. but i was so sneaky my parents gasp when they hear about the stuff i used to do. like sneaking out of the house. But i started that when i was about 3. my godmother was babysitting and i didn't want to take a nap i guess, and snuck out the bedroom window to go play with the kids across the alley. LOL my bed i guess ha a cover so i couldn't get out becuase they couldn't keep me in it when i was little. But my mom lights up when she talkes about me as a baby, and said iw as so good in stores and long rides and on planes, that she never had a problem with me in those areas.. just chasing behind me.
