Aspie?

I have recently been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 56 and would like contact with other aspies. I think it explains a lot about my life as although I have a high IQ and am well-educated I have suffered from chronic unemployment (and therefore low income) and have had difficulties with forming close relationships despite my desire to do so. Luckily though I am about to inherit some money so hopefully the remainder of my life may be happier despite all this and this may help me to sort out my problems. Anyway if you are an aspie how old are you now and how old were you when you were diagnosed? Also (if it's not obvious) are you male or female? Thanks!
