A Like/Dislike button & Karma ?

Kind of inspired from facebook and reddit. Just something we can press to show our support of a particular opinion/post without having to actually type anything. It can also be something to show the readers which is the most popular opinion/post in a thread.

And the other idea.

What if the like/dislike button wasn't so much like facebook. What if it was just a heart/broken heart symbol symbol next to the date in posts

AND

the number of someone's likes/hearts/karma is calculated/aggregated in a similar way like the profile view count number in a person's profile.

Just an idea.

I like the 'like' post idea..
It's good if this site keps improving instead of going backwards.. if they want more signups..
Karma.. I think i saw it somewhere as well. But it might be a bit too complicated for DXP.. 😛

They have a like button on another site I frequent. I often want to like certain posts.
In fact the entire layout would be great for this site.
