DXP has a really strange problem with accepting files that's larger than certain sizes. The best solution is to use a website like tinypic.com to resize it to a more manager size e.g. 500 x 500 then it should work with no problems.

Alrighty. I did that. I have some pictures uploaded to tiny pic. Tried shrinking them and re uploading.
Tried embedding them in my profile.. tried straight copy url and paste. Nope.
Tried. url
Tried.
The pictures you're trying to upload to the "my images" part of your profile don't need to be hosted; they actually end up stored on DXPs server(s). If you want them to show up in the body of the profile, then they need to be hosted. Use this version
and they'll show up. Quote this message to see the proper version of the code.
I've noticed the site is finicky about the file size of the images you try to upload into your images. Not pixels/physical dimensions, but kilobytes and megabytes. I don't think I've ever gotten anything to upload that is more than about 500kb.

I am struggling.
I obviously was able to upload one image - my profile pic- awhile ago. but I can't seem to upload any additional pictures. I have tried from my phone. I have tried from my laptop (explorer and chrome)
It tells me "dxp has successfully uploaded your photo" or something like that. but it hasn't.
user error? possibly.
