Been noticing a trend among Leos that they often get used.. Do you agree? I feel like I have been used many times in the past.

Unfortunately this is true. It's why people now think I'm a cold selfish bitch. I used to not be this way but that is how I've had to become to stop getting hurt and dissapointed. The few I let in know better.

Yea I hear ya... Took a Scorpio woman to get me to realize that people will take advantage of others

Leo's nature is very compassionate, and upright, don't like letting ppl down and that's why some ppl try to take advantage of them, also I'd say their nature mixed with some naivety (and pride :}) sometimes don't let them realize when are being used

Yep. Once I realized it, I bounced.

I'll give and give and give till I just become disgusted.

That's why I'll never go to extreme measures for ANYONE ever again.

Well, it's a positive thing that you learnt from that,

Sometimes they've made me believe I was the one not giving enough, but once I realized it was just the opposite - and kicked them out of my life - I continued giving, but knowing who I was giving to.

Sometimes that's the case, I think most Leos can be awesome friends.

On the other hand...I dated a girl with a Leo stellium (Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars),Sag rising, Moon in Aries, and I noticed that she would be very generous to a fault, then would expect people to act a certain way. When they wouldn't live up to her expectations she would end up feeling used and wind up extremely hurt and angry. Not sure if this factors in, but her stellium was in the 8th house.

I tried to explain to her that she should be kind and generous because it makes her happy, not because she expects something or for people to modify their behavior. She didn't take this very well.

I'm more fixed then cardinal. I wish I was cardinal I'm not.

The only demands I've ever had on my siblings is to get educated aND get good jobs.

Perhaps being the eldest is a factor bUT I know that doesn't equate being generous

I think it's more a sense of responsibility, than generosity, I agree.

I'm at the point of life where I no longer pampering or spoiling other people first after I realized my ex is a narcissist. I still feel guilty when ppl come to me, need my help or company, I answer them "no"...finally "yes". Dafuq they piling up a hundred more than what they used to say what kind of help they need from me before. It happened again yesterday so hopefully tommorow I have no mercy & continue being cold to 'em all.

Leo's have an Overexagerated amount of faith in ppl and that allows us to be way too generous, naïve and overlook being used. In your mind you don't want to believe that someone so good such as yourself because would be taken advantage of by someone you love. You know that you try to be the best person you can be, and a fair person and for the most part an all around good person so you don't expect ppl who know you to take advantage of you so you stay blind to the fact and left cheek the red flags which is why Leo's get used. Been there too many times to let it ever happen again. The first sign I get of a user I turn into an mean selfish biatch.

story of my leo mothers life

I'm a Leo and I have huge heart. I will help anyone and I do it more than 1 time too many. I get used a lot. Sometimes I get mad at this. I have cut people out of my life. But sometimes I go into it thinking you know not to expect anything in return. The times I do this is when I feel the best about the situation, I give of my free will and expect nothing back. Like if I loaned my siblings money. I go into it thinking you probably will never see this again, so only do it if you can live without getting it back. They usually repay me in other ways than money. But if i expect something back, I usually get burned. Somethings though are just too much, I gave and gave to my ex and he gave nothing in return. He used me, plain and simple. So in those cases you just got to cut and run. But yes, I get used a lot. I get used by my coworkers way too much, but I keep helping them. Sometimes I think f this, I'm done. But then I think this is me and I like me. And I don't want to stop helping people because sometimes I help the wrong people. Why should I change because they were aholes? Maybe I don't help them again, but I still help people in general. It's an attitude and I like having a big heart even if no one sees it. But if you do sees it, you are my friend for life and I'll stick by you forever because most people never understand me. And if you can't see it, then it's your loss.

Can't say as a leo sun, but as a leo rising and venus, my relationships are leo-like, and when I was younger I gave so much because I Wanted people to feel cared and appreciated. But, it was too much to too many. I know better now, I give the right amount at the right times, not to go overboard with the give, and remember to ask without being prideful or stubborn.

Most of the Leos I know ARE the users, not the other way around. They are typically players who don't like to work.

Yes! All this! We don't do thing because we expect people to act a certain way after we do them. We do them because we care about people, we never want to see a fellow man hurt and we're so fair and honest we can't fathom how other people can't be (that's that naiveness). ?

Lol @ every mofo in here coming out of the woodworks to tell how "used" they've been. I'm pretty sure there are/were ppl in your lives who'd say the same about you! It's a matter of perspective and everyone's got their own.. so get off your high horses my fellow snowflakes.

Leo's live to be appreciated, which is why I love Leo's

This is why Scorpios are good for Leos. They don't "appreciate" or put as much value in these things as say a Libra or a Cancer would bc these are just gestures. They teach us to give where it matters.. and even when we can't, it's a lesson learned for next time.

I don't. Scorpio moons don't normally get used. Maybe a few times, but never again. Not saying that's a good thing either. If you constantly give your heart you're going to get hurt, but if you never give your heart you end up alone. Even worse, alone and use to it.

Cancer traits have me picky on who I let into my life. At this point I'm only surrounded by close friends and family I fully know I can trust.
