HOPE MY FELLOW LEOS CAN HELP....WITH SAGI MAN

Met a saggitarius guy in october, both got on really well the chemistry was WOW.
(being a leo im usually quite gaurded and dont give my heart easily).
but this guy really wowed me, and he also felt the same. to cut a long story short.
we had a disagreement in begining of january. he said something i missunderstood.
i was polite got out of car,he sent text asking what was wrong, and i realized i had been
over sensative, and missunderstood what he'd said.
I called at his house and appologised, and i said i would understand if he didnt want to see
me again, but he said he did, and arranged to meet on the saturday but he cancelled, saying he
could speak to me at moment, that he was having problems, and his head was a shed.
(Id sensed there was something wrong) earlier.
so i tired to contact him via text with no reply back, so i left it.thought he was just ignoring me.

so begining of last week received a text out of blue, stating that he had, reset his phone and the messages from january had just come through, from january —.and that why would he ignore me when he liked me so much. and that he'd never met anyone like me.
I replied friendly, stating that he never said what problems he was having,and he replied the start of the problems was his friend being diagnosed with cancer, and dies last week, also he is having test for cancer , and thought it too soon after meeting me to tell me, also having business problems, and problems with his ex wife.
this had thrown me into confusion, his he wanting to rekindle things,
basically that was two weeks ago, i asked his to keep me informed on his test, and if there was anything i could do. but havnt heard anymore in the last 2 weeks, do i text to enquire about him, as i feel sick and wory he may be ill, or do i just leave it and wait for him to contact me.
(we are both in our 40s). hope someone can shed some light on this, because this guy has really got to me.
