Insight from my fellow Leos

I've posted a bit on this in the Virgo forum but I need the insight from my fellow Leos. When I am in a situation it's hard for me to see what's happening so I need advice.

I got a promotion this year and started working for someone I knew for a couple of years but only on a professional level. In the last eleven months I've gotten to know him very well and the thing is, I feel like there is something beyond work and beyond friendship between us.

About him - he is the most Virgoey Virgo I've ever known! 😉 He is a perfectionist and a workaholic. Before I got to know him I thought he was shy and serious but I have gotten to know another side to him that is silly and a little wicked.

He seems to enjoy my company and has put a lot of trust in me when it comes to his feelings about his career. When something goes wrong he seeks me out to vent. He loves to tease me-never inappropriately. It's actual in a child like way (for example he put a dead bug on my desk to try and freak me out! Haha)

I was recently on vacation for two weeks and he texted me almost every day. I could tell he missed me (and I missed him too)

I think it's obvious that he cares about me but I'm not sure if it's in the same way that I care for him. We once discussed work relationships and we both said we thought it was a bad idea so I don't think anything could happen between us but I am dying to know what he is feeling.... I don't want to lose what I know we have but I am wondering if we could be more...

Any thoughts?

A few more details..,

One of the texts he sent me while I was away was a picture of him - nothing dirty (naughty treetrunkers!) just a picture of him...not sure why he did that but I replied back "Well now I can't forget what you look like!" 🙂

He is always coming by to talk to me & will sit on my desk. Sometimes it's out of necessity but a lot of times it's just to chat. He also IMs me throughout the day - mostly to tease me. Sometimes he'll ask me to do things and be totally adorable about it (Saying Pwease instead of please)

Ughhh - he's totally getting to me! 🙂

So I guess what I'm saying in a nutshell is who cares what he's thinking when the rule has already been written and therefore will trump whatever he's thinking or feeling anyway. So, why torture yourself pondering on what he is thinking. This Leo follows the rules she sets and keeps it moving.

Quiet as it's kept, I'm thinking the mutable Virgo will appreciate that there are some females out here who not only have standards but, who also stick to them. You go telling him you think it would be a bad idea, only to turn around and act on something you think is a bad idea -- that may cause him to look at you in a less than favorable way. Virgos are work hounds therefore, this is not the first and the last time he will come across a female in the workplace who digs him. He's a diggable guy -- why you think P-Angle can't keep her head out of 69Virgo's ass!! He can't say nuthin on these boards without her popping her head out for a breath of fresh air!! lol lol

You are definitely right...doesn't matter what he feels. A rule is a rule and I need to stick to it. I do know one thing he feels about me and that is respect. I wouldn't be a woman he respected if I tried to make something out of the situation at this moment.
