Leo Woman and Cancer Man

Hey Guys and Gals! Im curious to know if there are any Successful Leo and Cancer relationships out there. I found that I tend to get along with Cancers alot more then any other sign out there. But that could just be me.. 🙂

I'm a Cancer and my first girlfriend was a Leo.
We dated for close to three years, and we were in love.
It definitely can work; it just depends on other factors.

For example, she had Venus in Cancer, and I have Venus in Gemini.
It seemed to balance things out - making us more compatible.

Cancer and Leo relationships can flourish because they share many qualities. It's their approach that differs. Respect is very important and for both, they like to feel like they not only can trust someone completely but that the person they love has their back. If they can walk all over you, they will either lose interest or walk all over you but if they do, you will lose their respect. Cancers are easily hurt. Leos can be blunt. Leos are easily hurt too and Cancers can be very sarcastic and hurt without knowing it. Leos are problem solvers and can get frustrated with the way Cancers seem to get stuck on something and never move either way. They also can avoid saying what they mean.Think crab as opposed to Lion and you can see why the two need to find common ground.

It's good that both are really loyal and are actually very generous with their affections and they can be trusted to fight right along with you. What works the best for me is knowing what I want to say and saying it then giving him time to think about it and get back to me. As a Leo, I have had to learn to be patient and wait for the answers. He isn't going to move unless he is ready for it. When either of us feel pushed, we get crabby. He goes on defensive when offended. He imagines slights so there can be a lot of misunderstandings and both have to be patient with getting to know each other. Cancer and Leo emotions can be intense and Cancers may seem aloof at times but they are swayed by emotion. Leos can do that with flair. Leos like that Cancer has depth but worries about losing themselves in Cancer's lows. Still the loony cancer is interesting to Leo because Cancer can take a lifetime to figure out and Leos like a good mystery.
