How do you deal with them?

For example...

I've been casually seeing a girl who is now aloof and most likely not that into me.

I have a job that started off great but is now mind-numbingly boring and although it pays well, I have barely any social interactions throughout my days and on the whole it's just kind of lonely.

I go out on weekends to meet new people but I'm sick of bars and clubs (I live in Los Angeles). I consider myself a confident person when I'm out and I can easily carry conversations with strangers. Problem is most people I tend to meet out here are a bit...and I hate to generalize...superficial. Also a lot of times too young. I'm 30. I've tried some meet ups but they're usually filled with socially awkward folks and I end up becoming their mentor :/

I'm just down and I have no one to talk to as I sit here at work with 5 hours left on the clock. I used to be constantly optimistic throughout my early to mid-20s. Now I'm just feeling let down constantly, like I need to tone down my optimistic energy to avoid being disappointed or hurt.

Just venting!

What are ur interests. Are the meet ups that you've joined really meet ups you're genuinely interested. I've done travel meet ups and pretty they normal people. N I go with intention of meeting interesting people n have fun

I did a couple social meetups at bar/lounges. They actually weren't that bad but there were a lot of awkward people there. I ended up feeling kind of bad for them. But I'm looking into some outdoorsy ones, maybe some meditation ones.
